  • @Laz24 Latin is the language of power.

  • ATTENTION: can anyone tell me the name of the song that is called "Lesiem" by Lesiem? Yeah the song starts w/ "Nemo Lessus Lesiem// Non Culpa In Cano//Sancto Famulu//Amatio Cum Amoris Ardor" but no matter how many times i search it by "Lesiem-Lesiem" it doesn't pop up on youtube.

  • i love the piano!!!!

  • NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • When the Western Roman Empire finally collapsed, Christianity alone had the potential to unite the various peoples of the Empire, with their different skins, different cultures, different classes. When the last remnant of the Empire in the West crashed, Christianity emerged from the ruins miraculously unscathed. The future belonged to the followers of the Christ.

  • i fucking love that song!

  • Thank you for taking the time to add a translation and a explanation of the Lyrics to this awesome song.It makes the music and the lyrics of this song even more, what would be the right word for what I am trying to say "powerful ". It puts a pitcure to the song and the words , at least for me it does. Great job!!! Thanks

  • @ApprenticeOfAnubis You really think rectangular shields and the "Testudo" formation would have made a difference between the empire's fall and survival? First of all, don't sell the Late Roman Army short. They weren't as "barbarized" as others have incorrectly assumed. The classical legions were designed for conquest, not so much as a defensive force. In short, the military changed to ADAPT to new situations and to better protect the empire's interior.

  • Nihilominus, magis quam valde Linguam latinam et medii aevi et imperii Romani amo carminaque latina - semper iis delector.

  • 幾年前,洛汗剛開放時就是這首歌讓我印象深刻……

  • Anyone who thinks the "classical" Roman Empire was better than Christianity, well consider this: The Germanic tribes that "pagan" Rome failed to conquer through force of arms, Christianity converted said tribes, from the Franks, Goths, Celts, etc. I doubt that either the Visigoths or the Vandals would have spared the Holy City of Rome a full-fledged sacking had they not been converted Christians. Indeed, the Roman Catholic Church IS the true inheritor of Rome's legacy.

  • @Rome312AD

Just because something is "everywhere" doesn't mean its good. Catholic church has almost no say anymore in modern nations and almost no one goes to churches anymore. Besides, "Pagan" Rome didn't need to convert said Germanic tribes because they were strong enough to keep them out of their borders while Roman empire in the fourth and fifth century AD couldn't keep them out of their borders anymore. Hence the collapse of the Roman empire.

  • @soulripper31 I beg to differ. The Catholic Church is very much alive and well. Part of its enduring influence is attributed to its historical ties to the foundations of Western Civilization itself. In spite of a decrease in attendance, it remains the majority religion in several countries. Of all Christian denominations in the United States, Catholicism is not only the largest, but the most organized. Next to collective Protestantism, it is a minority, but a growing one as well.

  • @soulripper31 Not "good"? I'm sure you'd be quick to point out the sins committed in the Church's name, offenses that the Church has owned up to and still stands strong. But what about the good? Aside from being the truth, Christianity outlasted paganism because it addressed human needs much better. Secondly, the Church opposed slavery from the start. From Europe to America, the Church championed the abolitionist movements, and condemned slavery as an offense against God.

  • @soulripper31 As for the fall of the Roman Empire, the Romans had long dealt with a growing rise in Germanic incursions that reached as deep as northern Italy and southern Greece, long before Christianity ascended as the dominant faith. The Aurelian Walls are a testament to the declining security that Rome took for granted. The truth is that the fall of the Empire was mainly attributed to secular factors (political, economical, foreign and domestic issues, etc.).

  • @Rome312AD

Of course, but you said the pagan religions were unable to convert the Germanics which is obviously falls. The Romans could keep the Germans at bay most of the time during the first and second century AD. Then you had the turmoil of the third century AD. By the way the Gauls and tribes of Hispania were convered to the Roman religions(plus some of their gods added to the Pantheon). My point was it is impossible to have a monotheistic religion in an empire as diverse as the Roman one

  • @soulripper31 By and large, the Romans failed to seduce the Germans with their religion or advanced society. The descendants of Germania were rather proud of the fact that their ancestors not only resisted Rome, but that the Roman Empire eventually fell to the spheres of the Germanic peoples. What's more, the Romans were less interested in converting foreigners to their religion; that was more of a domestic policy. But Christians took it upon themselves to spread through the Empire, and beyond.

  • @soulripper31 I can't tell what you hate more. The fact that Christianity even exists, or that it triumphed over a "pagan empire" that tried to destroy it, almost from the start of its existence. Thank you though, for pointing out a big difference between polytheism and monotheism. Whereas pagans didn't have the guts to go on resisting, Christians not only refused to be dictated to on spiritual matters, but eventually overthrew their oppressors and remade a dying empire into a world-wide faith.

  • @Rome312AD

World wide faith except most people don't go to church anymore in Europe, Islam is growing a lot faster, priests who are all a bunch of dirty old pedophiles, Pope commiting acts of fraud, blablabla

The Christians in Egypt didn't resist the Muslim conquerors because they saw it as good riddance of the Patriarch of Constantinople. Where are the Christians now in Asia Minor, Egypt and Judea? Dickhead.

  • @soulripper31 Once again, you fail to see past your blind and ignorant hatred of Christianity. It was never about "how many" people go to church; it's just about the *people who do go to church.* If Christianity only relied on the dominance of being a majority, then it never would have made it beyond the status of a cult. Our own past reflects how being a minority-with God on our side, oppressed by the majority, only serves to make us even stronger and more determined than ever.

  • @soulripper31 But yes, church attendance in Europe has gone down, and where is Europe now? It is in an even worse financial situation than the U.S.; the Euro's value is going down the toilet; the greatness of Europe's past has become lost to history. The continent, the culture and the civilization that conquered and modernized the world is but a broken shadow of its former self. What Europe should do is turn back to God, rather than giving in to complacency and self-indulgence.

  • @soulripper31 So you're one of those who conveniently blame the entire Catholic Church and all of its people for the crimes of those who are but a minority compared to the rest of the faithful. Pedophiles and all other sorts of criminals can be found in any aspect of society, both religious and secular. There are countless child molesters who aren't even religious. For example, the rapes of boys in Penn State weren't committed by a clergy member, but by a football coach.

  • @soulripper31 Are you going to blame that on the Church as well? I'm sure you'd love to. You would love to single the Church out for the crimes of some individuals; crimes that are committed on a FAR LARGER scale beyond the domain of the Church. The Holy Father has long since faught to drive these freaks out of our Church since his days as a Cardinal. He struggled to prosecute Maciel, a notorious Mexican priest, and finally exiled him for crimes against the Holy See.

  • @Rome312AD

And yes, I blame the Roman Catholic church for protecting pedophile priests. You know, cause it's their damn fault!

  • @soulripper31 I don't know where you get your information from, or if you just draw your own conclusions to support your delusions. Regardless, Christians are not "practically gone" in those regions. In spite of being marginalized or persecuted, they still perservere against the odds, not that you'd have any idea what that kind of courage is like.

  • @soulripper31 As for the growth of Islam, you should also consider the fact that it has to do with a higher birth rate than actual conversion. The intolerable living conditions of the vast majority of Middle Eastern countries is partially responsible for this high birth rate. Many die young in this particular region, thus necessitating the need to make more people. More developed societies may not grow as fast in population, but we live good. ;)

  • @soulripper31 Pagans no longer exist because their religion became increasingly meaningless to the various peoples of the Empire. More and more looked for a real sense of belonging, and obviously much to your chagrin, Christianity gave that to them. For all of Rome's "glory", the price was its existence as a state. No matter how you try to spin it, the Empire is gone, but Christianity remains to this very day.

  • @Rome312AD pagans do exist and their numbers grow rapidly. sacred ceremonies take place all over Greece. the gods never die.

  • @soulripper31 And no, Rome did not conquer the *most territory* during its polytheistic period. As large as the Roman Empire was, it is nothing compared to the Roman Catholic Church that encompasses the world today. Small-minded people like you think that the conquest of land is what defines an "empire"; Christianity, combined with the other Abrahamic faiths, proved that the conversion of humans is infinitely more successful and long lasting than the conquest of foreign territories.

  • @Rome312AD Just because an idea, such as a religion, is more popular does not make it correct. In my opinion the Catholic Church is way too dogmatic. God gave us brains for a reason. If you are going to let the Pope do all your thinking for you whats the use of having one? I have to admit Catholics aren't nearly as bad as some fundamentalist evangelical groups who insist that every word in the Bible is literally true.

  • @MaximusImber And yet it is our adherence to our tenets that has enabled the Catholic Church to survive in its present form to this day. We make changes, sure, but the overall infrastructure and organization remains mostly the same. Of all other Christian churches, and every other religious order for that matter, the Catholic Church is in the best position to help people the world over. What's more, no other Christian group can claim what the Church has:

  • @MaximusImber A history that goes back all the way to Jesus Christ and the Apostles. The Catholic Church traces its history back to Saint Peter, Apostle of the Lord, and the first Bishop of Rome (AKA Pope). The Catholic Church of today is the direct continuation of the State Church of the Roman Empire, as established by Emperor Theodosius the Great.

  • @MaximusImber I will admit though that it is unfortunate that Papal Primacy had not been established much earlier in the history of the Holy See. The reason there are so many Christian denominations is because of a lack of central leadership. Even Martin Luther only wanted to *reform* the Church and free her from corruption; secession was never his actual intention for the Reformation. But even still, no single Protestent church holds a candle to the global status of the Catholic Church today.

  • @Rome312AD The Catholic Church, the murderer of our once great Empire! Murderer of our own identity, and human dignity.

  • @DarkPractitioner The Vatican doesnt exist in the first 4th century( 33 A.C - 355 APROX) ; it was the Pagan Imperial Rome that muredered the first christians(catholics), not Vatican obvoiusly!!... its a BIG LIE that Constantine emperor, creates the Catholicism, the only thing that did Constantine its to give free-cult the first christians with "Edict Milan" in 313; but NOT creates Catholicism.... the catholicism its the authentic cristhianism... after the death of St. Peter in the year 67,

  • @etherealwave Sure man, keep telling yourself that.

  • @DarkPractitioner OK, thanks so much for answering my comment!!!..... Only one & last question, it just curiosity......please respond me: are you protestant, atheist, agnostic, or what do you believe it?? .... GREETINGS!

  • @soulripper31 But I'm sure those good deeds won't interest you since they can't be used to demonize the Church. Still, it's good to set the record straight before others become influenced by ignorance and prejudice. Oh, there are still Christians in Asia Minor, Egypt and Judea. They exist as minorities, but then again, Christianity as a whole was once a minority to virtually everything else. But where are those Roman pagans, which you seem so fond of, today? Oh yeah...EXTINCT.

  • @Rome312AD

I'm not fond of Roman pagans, why would I be? It's just easier for a multicultural empire to have a polytheistic religion. Because as we've seen throughout history, empires, countries and kingdoms have been divided because of religious wars and that's because they only accept one god. My country indirectly created because of such a war.

The Christians in those areas are getting suppressed and killed by the day. They're practically gone from those regions.

  • @Rome312AD

And why are the Roman pagans extinct? Might want to read up on your early Christian history as there was a lot of violence on both sides. Most of the violence came of the Christians though, even if Christian sources tell a different story ;)

  • @Rome312AD

But without a doubt Rome's glory period when it conquered the most territory was under pagan gods and not the Christian god. Gauls, Hispanics, North Africans, etc all believed in Roman Gods and their god were added to the Roman pantheon. That's the benefit of a polytheistic religion. The Roman empire was already decaying when Christianity became prominent.

  • @soulripper31 Whatever delusions you've conjured to make sense of the Roman Empire's fall, it was not Christianity's fault. The Empire was on the path of its own annihilation long before the Christians came along. Simply by conquering too much and spreading its armies too wide meant that, sooner or later, everything would gradually fall apart because its infrastructure couldn't sustain such a vast dominion for a myriad of reasons. The Church simply picked up pieces and allowed Europe to move on.

  • Anyone who "blames" Christianity for the fall of Rome is just stupid, plain and simple. Rome was weakened by a legion of weak and ineffective emperors, civil wars, a failing economy, a severe decline in social values, etc. Germanic tribes simply took advantage of the situation, but Rome's political and economic decline finished the empire.

  • Powerful music!

  • Well thought out...10/10

  • I love this song so much...

  • It's funny latin is the only dead language people care to study... or at least the biggest dead language

  • @PYDDZIExTHECRAFTER ancient greek is another dead language that people study and in my opinion ancient greek is the biggest dead language

  • @Ms0steve0 Yeah, but my point is that in the biologic and medicin world and so on, the international language is latin =)

  • Another Thing to Add : it wasn't the fault of christianity or Jésus ..

its due to the behaviors of Priests and kings Since the year 600 AD (May be Before)

  • Utinam renovare posset imperium Romanum

  • im on my sisters account so stfu. and clearly you dont know the first thing about christianity if you say that is our goal to hate on others. scumbag

  • I listen to the entire Lesiem album while I'm eating breakfast on Sunday morning. This is my favorite song from the album.

  • Free Replay Button: 01:03

    Thumps up;D

  • why does everyone love to label and bash music when it has a message and/or exercises emotions. music has been one of the most powerful and beautiful of all art forms since the human existence and lets leave it that way.

  • I laugh at all the people thinking this is a catholic/christian song. Its about two roman brothers called romulus and remus. They were the founding fathers of rome. In stories of these two they were raised by a she wolf. One brother killed the other.

  • I don't even know what God has to do with this song... oh wait, it's in Latin... too bad Latin pre-dates Christianism... oh well...

This song is just epic... though I'll nag and say: He's called Romulus, and his bro was Remus. (ex-latinist can be a bit touchy with this... /shot)

  • Wow, so much hatred to the human voice singing music.... Don't care what it 'means'.... Human voice with instruments (whether they be electronic or acoustic) is AMAZING... Drink it up!

  • 洛汗讚拉!!!

  • JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC!!!

  • Anyone can prove that Jesus or God actually exists? anyone?

  • @gastmania933 Historians and scientists prove God.During that period historians from other countries prove His works and Existance

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Do they have any evidence? How do they "prove" it?

  • @gastmania933 A Historian is bound on facts.I mean there is a law in History and that's it to be as accurate and neutreal as possible. If you deny a historian you actually deny your history

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Hmm? Law in History? No such thing exists. It is a common knowledge that much of history is corrupt. Then how do we know it, how do they prove it? We can't. We just rely on the knowledge that has been passed down.

  • @gastmania933 Ok then. There wasn't a guy named Socrates in Ancient Greece nor Alexander.Hilter was a loving man trying to save us from the plague of the Jews etc.History is fatcts.Thukididis was the first tos and apply that

  • My Pc stuck and CRASHED when i clicked the 'play' button due to the EPICNESS of this track . i could not believe that !

  • @ApprenticeOfAnubis Ohh and believe me I can give you a thousand of examples

  • @ApprenticeOfAnubis That is perfection according to Buddists.Being perfect doesn't mean anything of what you said for Christians.Pluz God is everywhere around you.Everything around us is just to damn perfect to be done by accident. If you see every parameter in our world you ll see what I mean. From the cell of a flower to the orbit of the planets.God is everywhere but our arrogance doesn't let us see Him

  • @The0Dark0Warrior And to the destruction of tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanoes as well as deaths to horrible diseases, birth/genetic defects, heart disease, cancer (hell even skin cancer from just being out in the sun too long), this world sure is perfect.

  • @5StarGeneralXenoCO These things happen because of our sin.We are away from God from the fountain of life that's why there are many disasters. We chose to be away from God and so we are.But we missed the line where it says that God is the only one to create life.Away from Him is only death

  • @The0Dark0Warrior isnt all going according to his plan anyway..?

  • @MovieFusionist His plan is to save not to destroy. The destruxtion of man came beacause he sined. He didn't use his freedom wisely.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Besides Jesus isn't even the first person to claim to be "The son of a god," heck even just a few decades before he was born you had Julius Caesar who was a descendent of Venus (not sure if he ever said son) and Cleopatra VII who was the daughter of Isis, and many more like Ramses The Great son of Ra, etc. Jesus was born just like any other human being: Mary (NOT a virgin) had sex with Joseph, 9 months later out came Jesus.

  • @5StarGeneralXenoCO Your point is incorrect.During Julius Caeser no miracles happened by him.But Jesus no.Jesus did many miracles and Historians speak about them!

  • I really get tired of religious arguments, I'm atheist but I'm not going to start a god damn argument about religion on EVERY SINGLE VIDEO I GO TO.

  • @ApprenticeOfAnubis So I could say about Greece man but you are wrong. The Chinese where "mixed" with the Monggols and later with the Japanise. There is no such thing like a pure blooded empire.Populations where moved etc.Being so generic makes you wrong.Anyway you believe what you want.I respect that.Just don't insult what I believe and I m fine with you.Blessings.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Greece has fallen many times along its history and even pre-history, (Minoan - Mycenean civilisation), but everytime rises once again she just can't give up. She's a naturally born warrior. So you may say whatever you think. Each and everyone of the civilisations that mankind has created is basically an idea and since it is created it is also "condemned" to die in order to let something else flourish. The same thing can be applied to religions they are human made structures.

  • @sountzoukloukoum Do you realise I m Greek?xDI know my history!Greece is the ideas the spirit the culture the art the living. It's not a human. It is the soul in a human.Of course we don't have the exact same blood as the ancients but the spirit is what makes us live and survive.Plus remember that the exeptions prove the rule.(I don't know if you get me.It's a Greek saying). One last thing. You cannot tell if religion is manmade beacause we don't know how it was created. It's origin cannot be traced

  • @The0Dark0Warrior When I realised the fact that you are also greek it was late, i had already write all those comments :) You are right that the origin of the religions cannot be traced, on the other hand the structure and formula of each one of them is manmade.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Christ wasn't a christian after all

  • @sountzoukloukoum Jesus Christ is God not a person so your comment looks a bit weird :/

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Well as far as i know the christian tradition refers to him as man as well (Θεανθρωπος in greek). When he was talking about himself he was the: son of man. So why should we separate him from his human identity only because we want him to be The God?

  • @sountzoukloukoum The Christian God is consisted of three "persons"(I cannot be very accurate on my words because I don't know very good english). These three persons are the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We know this is the Holy Trinity our God.Jesus is the Son.So he is God.And yes he is human at the same time!Θεανθρωπος means both human and God(That doesn't mean that he is degraded in the Holy Trinity)

  • @The0Dark0Warrior I don't try to degrade him in any way. On the contrary, I believe that exactly because he "suffered" the life of a human deserves the greatest honor. The fact that he was god is just a side effect of his existence. Nobody is perfect after all :-)

  • @sountzoukloukoum Lol!!!Side effect?You think being a God is imperfection?You really confuse me there

  • @The0Dark0Warrior έτσι,πέστα.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Of course you are very right "There is no such thing like a pure blooded empire" I agree a thousand times with you on that

  • @ApprenticeOfAnubis Pay attention to my comment.People are corrupted not the Ideas behind Christianity!Plus you should know that every empire crumbles after time. And after Rome Bizantium came. And as I know it was a pretty good place with some really good emperors.I believe that people should stop being so egoistic and start searching more about things.Ignorance creates many things even wars.Knowledge on the other hand can save souls.Greetings my friend

  • LESIEM ES UNGRUPO ALEMAN DE GRAN TECNICA VOCAL, QUE SOLO SE LOGRA CON AÑOS DE PRACTICA, ESTA CANCION FUE LA PRIMERA QUE YO CONOCI DE ELLOS, LUEGO ME ENAMORE DE IN TABERNA MORI, HUMILITAS, TEMPERANCIA, CARITAS, BONITAS, JUSTITIA, NAVIGATOR, FORTITUDO, BRITANIA. LESIEM ES LO MEJOR...

  • полный улет!

  • is this song sang in latin language

  • this is my favorite song from Lesiem,

    1. Fundamentum

    2. Fortitudo

    3. In Taberna Mori

    4. Vivire

  • Abortion.

    Spear fishing rights.

    Party reform.

    Gun control.

    Legalizing marijuana.

    Speak amongst yourselves.

Sorry, just got tired of the whole Christian/Pagan topic. Thought I'd give everyone some other topics to discuss.

    Did it work?

  • why are you lot talking about christianity when this song is clearly about Romulus who was pagan :P

  • God Exists. The religion itself or the dogma that interprets the God doesn't have any importance for me.

  • @PLASKEplop i am with you. When I click the thumbs-up bottom doe not work, what the heck?

  • This is a music about on who created Rome, not about christianity. If you cant enjoy the damn song then gtfo!

  • an epic song for an epic moment, this is the best...can't stop playing in my head, will put the organ sound as my ringtone.

  • @Meutainer Sorry you know it's my poor english! xD

  • The Best of the Best...

  • What s wrong with you people???You hate christianity so much and you say that it is bad and all that.Christianity is not bad.People are bad and when you judge us and insult us you become less good than us.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Yeah man I know how you feel...The thing is that people are miserable and try to fid other people to accuse them for their problems....

  • @The0Dark0Warrior

God is unjust and partial Gen 9:25/ Ex 20:5/ Rom 9:11-13/ Matt 13:12

  • @superchristian102 His justice is divine and perfectly right. It is above our justice that's why we cannot understand it.At least that's what we the Orthodox Christians support.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Well, clearly, your Bible disagrees.

  • @superchristian102 The bible says to forgive and be just to all.I don't think God disagrees on that and also as I said his justice is above ours that's why we think he is ujust while he is not.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior

Christianity is plenty bad. Christ himself, not so much. I like him a lot to tell the truth. It's....his foolish followers.

But the thing to remember is, his foolish followers all got their inspiration from Christ anyway. Misinterpreted as it may be, without the Christian inspiration, there would be no foolish Christians to misinterpret anything.

  • @VosotrosEterno I believe that your judgement is wrong.Christ/God is the only ones not to blame. In the begginning of the church everything was perfect. All people prayed together and ate together. Then some PEOPLE destroyed the whole thing. Not Jesus nor the saints

  • @The0Dark0Warrior

Then for the sake of perception, the beginning's fine, it's the evolution of it.

The Christians now can literally use the Bible to justify anything, ANYTHING. Even if another point has been raised to an opposite idea. Many Christians use as a tool for love, and them I admire, however I cannot give CHRISTIANITY any merit because many other Christians use it as a tool to spread their hatred. Both make solid, logical cases based on the Bible, so I can't pick who's "true".

  • @VosotrosEterno Chrisitanity is based on LOVE the LOVE that our Lord Jesus Christ presented. He above everyone showed the meaning of love.Hatred comes from arrogance and emotion.Probably jealusly. This is the fake christianity covered in the mantle of power and brainwashing.True christianity lies with the love of Jesus. At least that's what I believe

  • @The0Dark0Warrior

What you believe is all well and good, and if this IS how you believe you have my respect. However, there's plenty of true evil in this world too. Like I said, the hateful have their own justifications. I've never heard one logical argument that'd lead me to be able to discern which is the fake Christianity and which is the real one....both conclude through astonishingly lucid logic that they are the real thing.

Besides, such arguing is all trife...I don't know a God...

  • @The0Dark0Warrior (cont.)

I don't know a God, and I sure do my share of looking. Until I know one, there's not a reason in the world for me to do what any one of them says I should do....therefore at least at the moment I don't care about who's the true Christian or not, but I do very much care about who and what God is.

  • @VosotrosEterno Who's God?That's a tough question.I can tell you what I believe though.I believe that God my father and you and everyone on this earth are my brothers.I believe that he is always with me during good times and bad times protecting me and always caring for me even in times that he seems "cruel" and "unjust" it is jsut because we cannot understand him!And that's normal since human logic is beneath His.Plus he loves us so much that He came here and got humilated and killed to save us

  • @VosotrosEterno(cont)And all that He wanted in return was love. That little thing. To love everyone and Him.Who would imagine that that thing would be so hard to do.Days pass and I instead of seeing love I see hatred and this makes me sad.Not because they deny my God but beacause they have become more miserable and self destructive and because they continue down that path they will destroy themselves. And that's sad...

  • @The0Dark0Warrior

This is where you and I cross paths in our respective beliefs. I wish the world was a Beatles song too haha. Unfortunately it is not; as much as we apparently need God's help to love, we sure as hell don't need it to hate. That much is certain. Yet people ask for it's help to hate regardless. The world is sad in this way, I know. But to me, I think the way is simply to stop "needing" things that you only think you want.

It's for this reason that I only go by what I know.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior Yes Christianity is all about love. That's why the moment Rome became a Christian empire, the emperors began to work as hard as they could to eliminate all of the other religions in the empire until the multi-god belief became mythology. Now that's what I call love.

  • @Heyprinny That thing happened by two emperors all other emperors supported the freedom of the human will

  • @The0Dark0Warrior MAYBE this is not a Christian hymn, but a Roman one... Romulus Dominus

    Romulus Dominus

    Remus Romulus Divinus Duramentum

    Remus Romulus Divinus Fratercaedes

    Sanctus Dominus Exitus Paludamentum

    Masculus Dominus Similis Non Fundamentum

  • @evadidio I was answearing to the people who insulted Christianity and showed hatred.I have nothing against this song.In fact it is awesome and I love it!!!

  • @The0Dark0Warrior I concur. I am sorta a "Christian" but love the "pagan" music like this and almost all of the epic Folk Metal out there.

  • @The0Dark0Warrior point well said

and by the way...why people say bull s**t and stuf when this song it's about Romolus...it's like long live the king or stuff like this

    i know my english sucks

  • @treivirgula14 I agree actually there shouldn't even start a religious discussion here on this song

  • @The0Dark0Warrior

    exactly

  • @The0Dark0Warrior The reason why people dislike Christianity is because it was largely due to Christianity that the world fell into an intellectual plughole from which the it wasn't able to escape for 800 years. If Christianity never existed, the world could be far more advanced than it currently is to the point where we could have been on Mars had Rome remained Pagan - because their philosophy was mostly "do what you want as long as you don't cause trouble," even if some were prosecuted.

  • @Heyprinny Actually my friend the meaning of Chrisitanity is that phrase you wrote.Sadly people who wanted power did these horrible things "in the name of God".They used Christianity to cover up everything while the problem wasn't God or any God.The problem was and still is the people who will desicrate everything for power.Jesus said one thing.Love each other not to kill the unbelievers and stop the advancement of the world.

  • @Heyprinny Don't forget that Rome fell due to its own political strife and cultural vice and that the Catholic Church back then SAVED WHAT WAS LEFT OF THE KNOWLEDGE IN MONASTERIES. You should be thankful to the monks of the Church for writing down everything by hand again and again instead of typing it like you do nowadays.

Without those guys, we would have to actually start over again completely.

  • @FRagLord99 Sad but true. On the contrary to the popular belief, christianity did not destroyed Roman Empire. The organism was sick and dying for AT LAST the last two centuries, till it finally callapsed in 476 (Western, main part), and because of total political and economical turmoil, not religiuos one at that time. In fact the monks did save what they could. Not for the love of paganism, but for knowledge.

The proof of its greatness? Latin. Alive, albeit weak, when natives long time dead.

  • @Riince

I don't understand why it's sad that Christianity didn't cause the empire's decline, Riince :V

  • @FRagLord99 You seem to be forgetting about the Byzantine Empire and the Arabs, I think they played a much bigger part in the revival of classical knowledge in Europe.

  • @5StarGeneralXenoCO

God bless them, God bless them all, I say! XD

  • @5StarGeneralXenoCO yes the culture of the byzantine empire was vaste comparing to Rome, the occidentals oriented to politics while the east oriented to preserving the orthodox faith (refering to the byzantine empire who had to face many migrating muslim peoples) and the catehetical schools, old writings( the whole orthodox learnings)...

  • @FRagLord99 It is joke? Part of the responsibility for the collapse of the Roman Empire have Christians.

  • @phorusable Why do you have to target Christians? If you're gonna bring up about how Christians do things badly then I'd like to mention the Bolsheviks, the Jacobins and Mussolini. All secular regimes who wish to indulge their people into an "atheist paradise".

  • @FRagLord99 Please, read ancient writter Libanios what wrote about Christians. There is no big different between Mussolini and Christians.

  • @phorusable

    "and Christians."

There is your problem. Your generalization of Christians is the cause of conflict. You're comparing an individual to a whole too, that's another mistake. I came here for the music, I did not expect to defend Christianity but so many claim that Christianity ALONE caused Rome's downfall, never mind the warring generals and the greed of their politicians.

  • @FRagLord99 Christianity is a religion, atheism is a belief.

  • @MINICLIPGAMER

Uh, we all know that..? :O

  • @FRagLord99 That is utterly wrong :) First there are 200 another reaons why Rome has fell and one and probably the biggest of them was, that they were won by Germanic tribes (Goths and another). With whom they had always some problems. It was just harder and harder to keep the borders as they were.
