  • this is d minor

  • poser?

  • great performance! there's a synthesized version of this which is quite nice. here at utube, just type in "carlos futuro bach for bachelors chriistian bruhn".

  • you and your roommate need to touch me like you do your instruments . . . you just do. now. :)

  • очень много грязи

  • this is bwv999 minuet in D minor

  • A lot of clunkers. ;-(

    Horrible thing to murder Bach.

    Take some lessons.

You could be a good guitar player if you learn some good technique.

  • I really like this version. It's fast and is really addicting on guitar. Thank you.

  • c'est le chemin par lequel il faut passer pour être grand!

  • awesome!

  • wow, he's good

  • Nice. I like it.

This piece was also in a Simpsons Episode called "Dial 'N' for Nerder".

  • great!!!

  • You need to feel the music

  • fast..but rough

  • im sorry but your bass notes sound really low. Those notes were meant to p be played loudly and be muted

  • Beautiful...

  • wow, he's good! I wish I could still play my guitar, I wasn't very good at it, but I could play it!

  • prelude for the lute in c minor

  • Absolutely amazing! But can I know the name of this prelude please?

  • Nice!

  • can anyone tell me the specific name of this prelude?

  • it's prelude in d-minor (original for lute in c-minor)

BWV 999. A good edition is RICORDI SY 2211 (together with

the usually connected fuge in a-minor)

  • I liked it!

  • need tone control, big time. and dynamics.

  • im sory speed is nothing. Concentrate on your tone alot more it is terrible. The problem is ur right hand your technique is shocking! go back to the drawing board and start playing with your right more square onto the strings.Watch videos of Andres Segovia.

But really all credit to you for all the notes and speed but your quality of tone lets you down alot!

  • if you wanna see shocking, haha check out me trying to play bouree by bach at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpm0N7u408I and tell me what i can improve on, since u critisized this guy so much. thankx

  • Andres Segovia PREACHED like CRAZY about the right hand being parallel to the strings. That is an effective technique but it is outdated to the modern technique. The Segovia technique does not allow you to FREELY play fast passages. If you don't believe me, check out Xuefei-Yang and Kazuhito Yamashita. Their technique is unmatched. And yes, speeed isn't everything. Your right.

  • dude, NICE!!! Took me a week to get Bach's Bouree down, but this one is almost imposible for me. been workin' on it, but with 3 months of experience one can only go so far. lol. Again, this is one of the best classical pieces in my opinion, if need the actual song, on mp3, i'll send it to you, since it kick ASSS!!

    peace

  • relply

  • Good job. You obviously have practiced much to get up to that speed. I would have to agree with some of the other youtubers when I say that it seems to lose its musicality when played at that speed. Tecnique is, IMHO, more important than speed. Its great to work it up to that speed for the personal benefit, but if you were to preform the piece, I would take it at a much slower speed. Bach is very technical music: good job working it up.

  • Even if the song is ment to be played at speed the thing to do is slow it down and learn it 100% perfect, so its almost unconcious, then gradualy increase the temo making sure you get it 100% right every time, then it'll sound even more immpressive than it already does.

  • In my opinion, the main flaw is that he isn't playing the three lower notes that end every measure strongly enough. And he seems to be miss some notes, but I don't play the guitar.

    Other than that, good job.

  • all you guys no nothing about this song, it has to go fast. that is what it was meant to do. great job dude you were right on

  • The piece is getting away from you at this tempo. Slow it down a bit and work on they dynamics.

  • way too fast, it looses it's beauty

  • nice! but where's the rush?

  • kool!

  • Horrid. Tell the guy to learn it better before presenting it publicly. Listen to all the slop! Geesh.

  • Your playing is very nice. I only take issue with the agressiveness you attack this prelude with. Remember, preludes in the baroque era were typically intended for two crucial reasons: to get warmed up and to make sure the instrument is in tune. In my opinion it should have more of a free nature to it. Your playing is great though. I'm not trying to be an elitist. Feel free to strike back!
