The RX-320 D has no any S-Meter Unit built in and shows only one Bogus Scale from 0 to 80 Figure is Equal from S-0 to S-9 with a Needle as an old Transistor Radio from the Sixtees. This scale is not and never any kind of S-Meter Unit. May be the Ten-Tec Company can make with this scale it´s US-Customers fool or may be Happy too but what is with the other Population of the World? Yes the rest of the world is not Mad to buy any SDR without S-Meter Unit.
Please measure the height of spectrum meter Mask and height of the memory section Mask and you will be able to find out the Mask height difference between both Sections. I have never seen some kind of differences between two portions or two Sections on the same screen or in the same software resolution.
Hello, here are is another Fault which I have never seen since thirty years:
You cannot store the Frequencies from 3MHz to 30 MHz. The Memory Section stored only 11 MHz to 30 MHz first and then start again to store from 3 MHz to 9 MHz. What a Foolishness. There are two different Methods to store the Frequencies: 1. From Zero to 30 MHz or from 30 MHz to 0 MHz.
2. The Frequencies stored or selected or Choosed by the Selector (Buyers/Customers).
Hello, here are is another Fault which I have never seen since thirty years:
Many Radio Frequencies cannot be accurate displayed in the LCD-Screen and on the Computer Monitor (Screen). Please try to store the Radio Frequency of 17200 kHz and then check this Frequency in the Memory Section and you will be able to see 17.1999.
Hello, here are is another Fault which I have never seen since thirty years:
Please change the Radio Band from LSB to USB and then you will be able to see that the Frequency Selector jumped to the One (1) Kilohertz Position and this means that when you try again to search from USB to LSB then you must have to select again Frequency Selector from One Kilohertz ( 1kHz) to 100 Hertz (100Hz) or to 10 Hertz (10Hz) or to 1 Hertz (1Hz). What a Nonsense.
I am so glad I saw this video from the ebay link. I would never buy this now. The spectrum scope looks like it's on valium. I am so glad you took the camera off of *YOU* and put it on the tentec. I am going to get the flex. good luck in contest.
I've had my TenTec RX-320D for over a year; love it. I have it on a 65' random wire (home made 9:1 Balun). From mid east coast I've logged Kuwait and New Zealand RNZI.
I enjoy DRM from Radio Canada International RCI, Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada about 800 miles away. I get them easily mid/late afternoon when they broadcast.
The standard controller program is OK to start. I have gone to other freeware and commercial software. I also have a palm pilot I can use as a controller for fun.
Once again another Software Problem:

I would like to see picking out a SSB signal on amateur band, while demonstrating filters. What is the noise floor on RX-320D receiver?
I am considering this receiver to assist amateur radio.
I like the price.

I love that radio.
Usually I listen to the BCB, but sometimes I decode ACARS, RTTY or WeatherFax.
There's lots of great freeware available, so this radio is a really good deal.
