I thought you might enjoy this picture of Daddy in his Golden Jersey uniform that the Daily Review took of him one day as he rushed home to rescue us from a snake on Van Week street, just blocks away from the Creamery.

Wow, my Dad, Travis Mann worked at the Golden Jersey Creamery in the ice cream dept at that time!

M-m-m. I remember Golden Jersey having a good vanilla ice cream. The Creamery in downtown Edinburg is now converted into upscale office suites and a restaurant on the north side.

A couple of years after the tape, I went to law school. I "newscasted" my way through law school in Austin. Then was a lawyer by day and a newscaster at night until early 70s.
