UNLUCKY 13 or LUCKY 13???: "Waiting On A Friend" peaked at No. 13 and spent a total of 15 weeks on Billboard's Top 100 in 1981/82, it entered the charts on December 5th, 1981...
{Was it bad luck to have peaked at #13 or good luck that it spent 15 weeks on the charts???}
i dont understand how people can get so excited about american idle.when there is so much real talent assesible these days. THERES NOBODY BETTER THAN THE STONES
thanks for sharing, sounds like a working band on the road to me. Looking at that sax player and thinkin, yeah, Clarence Clemons was likely listening.
my son Eddie passed away almost two years ago. He was a DJ at the time. I would go so him somtimes where he was Djing at. Everytime I want in where he was playing Waiting on a Friend would come on. THis was Eddie and I song. Thanks this is my favorite sone and I love this live version. Thank you.

On sax, replacing an indisposed Bobby Keys, was Ernie Watts from The Tonight Show Orchestra.
On his return Johnny said, "How was it with those guys, Ernie, kinda wild?"
