I went on a road trip a couple of weeks ago. It was 3 days of driving from Dallas to Tacoma. I brought this album. I listened to that album, and mostly this song, probably 100 times or so. The first thing I did when I got back from that road trip?
@KirbyLink08 dont leave it there man. whole damn car dissapear if that cover's visible from the windows. then again they could see it and know whatsup, and gtfo. ha!
Dude this band is fucking amazing, and when you listen to these guys high, well that's just a bonus. Fucking love the Sword, just got into them last night, no joke.
come on. we have got to rally around this band. we have all been trying to find something new and fresh. hell.if we can't find it with this album then forget it. this band is the real deal. keep on rockin'.
I know they did a trilogy featuring this song as well as Tres Brjas and Night City, but what I'd love is to see, to really pay homage to their source inspirations, is a full length rotoscoped Warp Riders movie. How awesome would that be? ROTOSCOPED, baby.
you can tell the influence of sabbath with ozzy, i fucking love this album man, seldom do i find an album where i like EVERY song on it but this is it man, this is just fuckin sublime!
this song is intense guys. i love it. so original. damn great song for what you all are doing up above my comment!! lmfao. peace. (or will it be below)??? huh.
definitely my fave off this album....... the riffs are not quite as chunky as on their earlier stuff, but man does it sound great anyhow! Can't wait to see them live again!
I read somewhere these guys were dubbed a "hipster metal band", my question is who the hell fingered them for hipsters? This is some seriously solid revival metal here. A little more to the rock side at times I think.
trivett left a few weeks ago.....sucks. they already havea nother drummer and re-scheduled all the north american tour dates they cancelled when trivett quit,
I'm a 35 year old dork who grew up listening to Blue Oyster Cult and Rush and every piece of nerdy metal I could lay my hands across, and this is one of the best fucking songs I have heard in my life
this song isn't brutal like what you're used too, but it's tough as hell. Like Bad Company at their best, especially at 1:18 - jesus what the fuck would we do without The Sword?
kinda has a st. anger / jimi hendrix kinda blend to me. has the st anger kinda sound to it, with some jimi-esque kinda funky riffs. i fucking dig it alot.
@Proteus60 So a cutting blues-rock influenced guitar lead in a metal song brings you to St. Anger? No offense bro that makes so fucking sense. It's more a jam than anything. Well structured, blistering track, but no musician can hear this and not hear the ultimate jam.
Trivett Wingo ain't playing on no damn trash cans, either. Lars sounded like shit on St. Anger. But that's a debate for another video.
@lemonstonecircus Should really troll on you for pointlessness, but your dedication to the sword has inspired me, i shall by tres copies, and four of age of winters coz i loves me some freya.
hmmm. Their touring with Karma to Burn who merged with Year Long Disaster.... which has a sound just like the one in this track. Coincidence? probably not.
bout to blaze to this its just a cool song mos def not like any others , sounds like someone stuffed boston and sabbath in a blender and thats what came out
@jvsmith77 makes sense. one for each disc. This is clearly my favorite song on the new album and it's the one that sounds the least like a song that The Sword wrote.
I just got the CD... and heard this song, I was gunna post it but it's already here, it kicks so much ass. "Astraea's Dream" is a really good one too.

I get a "have metal" vibe, if anyone has seen that movie. At very least the parody they did on south park, when kenny got high off cats XD.
