  • how much is lamination keeping that bird aloft?

  • booring

  • awesome. so thats why harriers always hover in call of duty. i was curious/

  • I didn't know these were real I just knew they were in COD

  • I wish these were in mw3 like mw2

  • "Friendly Harriers Inbound"

  • dear santa... yea right

  • hurry up you cunt

  • I think it ran out of full tank of fuel

  • I went to the Waddington airshow a few years ago, people all walking up and down the taxiway not watching the F-16's from Denmark do their fantastic display, same reaction for the Grippen.

    But when Harrier went up

    Every one stopped

    Harrier stopped

    It stayed in the air

    Everyone transfixed

    By this single aircraft

    It wasn't doing anything

And that is what was so spectacular

  • I don't know why the British are slowly getting rid of these wonderful sea harriers and selling to the Americans...

  • @Tibialstone7

They're not getting rid of them.

    They're already gone

  • @Tibialstone7 because they may be beautiful but behind the elevators theyre total shit

  • @Tibialstone7 Money.

  • @Tibialstone7 Like every Conservative Goverment they like selling everything we own.

  • @voon100 Surely there's SOME sense in the offer: they sell us brand new equipment, we sell them our retired fleet. We get a top of the range air force, America gets a 15 year old air force. Makes perfect sense... =P The Harrier had soul in the days of Hawker Siddeley, Britain always produces the best...

  • this is my favorite plane

  • the harrier has 2 rear (hot) thrusters and 2 front (cold) thrusters to keep it balanced. The F-35 has 1 giant thruster in the rear and a huge fan in the middle when the doors open to keep it balanced

  • @thejason7891 which is better?

  • @thejason7891 WHats the fan for?

  • @thejason7891 Also has outlets on the tip of the wings I think.

  • @djlopez61 Yeah, this video makes it look quite uncanny.

I cannot speak of its fear otherwise.

  • It looks more stable than the F-35. I don't understand.

  • @meteor4163 this is what i think. because the harrier has 4 thrusters (or whatever they are called) so it distributes the weight of the plane. and the f-35 just has one big thruster, idk

  • Modern Warfare 2

  • @htacceiss fag

  • can it fly straight after it took off vertically?

  • @1470cool of course.not sure why they didnt do it in this video

  • @1470cool it can the exaust nozzles can turn to 90 degrees

  • @ewninga14 but can it slow down and land verticaly again?

  • Smooth driver.

    Power check?

  • Wow that thing must consume a lot of fuel doing that.

  • this harrier is sick... and the close up is verry good. i think that guy on the ship is funny with his hand :)

  • @eminemfan350 And its a British invention ,the Harrier ............like most of the best inventions!

  • @MrPaulpops2003 God bless the british...seriously i love britsh ppl!!! :D

  • Yes it was

  • great footage was that on an Aircraft Carrier?
