My 8 year old rat terrier, Ishmael, is in depression right now because Tramp, my 15 year old Bichon, just passed away on Sept 16th. He was a big brother to Ishmael. Your two darlings are awesome! Thanks for sharing.

depending on her coat (meaning it could just be the way she is) I would look into diet and nervousness. Mine shed profusely when they are nervous. A poor quality dog food can also affect these guys and they will lose coat condition.

these dogs just shed naturally.. there's not really anything that i know of to prevent it. it just happens. brush them every day or two. that's just a part of owning a rattie. you have to get used to the little wirey hairs all over everything! = )

Every dog is different. You have to learn the difference between their play noises, and their "I'm gonna eat 'em alive!" noises.

Just like Ren and Tara, Ren will stand at the door and refuse to come back in if Tara is anywhere near him, and he also sounds like Satan when he barks. Then again, he's 15 years old and is really just old and pissed.
