@parakratos Have you considered that it'll take you a few hours to build it, even more time to figure out what parts to buy & install boxee, xbmc and so forth. Or you could work for a day, get the money for the xtreamer and avoid a lot of hassle. Time equals money is something people forget.
@Linquemon not really, i could build a better one for cheaper in under an hour, and find the parts in half that time. plus the building of the pc is the fun part. id rather save money and build a pc for fun in my spare time...

@kenjuma Ik heb van anderen gehoord dat je invoerrechten moet betalen. Heb wegens onvrede over de manier waarop Xtreamer met klanten omgaat (o.a. onduidelijke kosten, topics over prijs sluiten, levertijd opgeven die ze nooit halen) besloten mijn pre-order te annuleren en zelf een htpc in elkaar te zetten. Die zelfbouw htpc doet hier al ruim een maand perfect dienst :)
@jacobras Ik zit inderdaad the twijfelen tussen iets als dit of gewoon zelf een HTPC op basis van een Brazos chipset in elkaar te zetten. Met het oog op maatwerk en ook de kosten. Maar gewoon een simpel dedicated apparaat staat natuurlijk ook mooi.

Also das müsste MediaPortal mit dem StreamedMP Skin sein. Soweit ich das sehe. Läuft bei mir zuhause auch. Und ich würde sofort zum Ultra wechseln...

nene das is definitiv XBMC das habe ich schon erkannt.ich meinte was es für ein betriebsssystem im hintergrund ist,aber scheint linux zu sein
