Yeah man, you're right! I just remebered. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 (not metal gear solid 1 and metal gear solid 2) were on the nes and the snes, if I remember correctly.
@robertneville777 Nope, you're perfectly wrong, Metal Gear 1 and 2 were both for the MSX japanese home computer. The ones on the NES were not official.
why certainly. you only have to look at the other wii linux videos to see firefox (iceweasel) using it. I'm not sure about the status of the wifi, you may still have to use an adaptor
Is there a How-To for this Video? And considering that libdi was released, we have a whole new range of possibilities with Wii-Linux. Perhaps a live distro (well with a launcher on the SD Card and files on the Disc!)
How big is the dev team for wii linux? I'd love to start porting some stuff (i've been considering buying a wii just to play with linux). I've got an old g3 imac sitting around in my closet, do you think that old PPC arch would still be able to compile for the wii? I'm not really informed on PPC/Instruction sets, are there any new ones on the Broadway chip that I'd lack on the g3?
The elf is 2,3MB, but it might be smaller if i use modules and avoid the ramdisk. The usb should be at least 2GB, but i have to remove too many files and libraries that i dont use.
Nuvalo devo decirte que e seguido tu trabajo desde EOl q aunq no estoy registrado siempre estoy atento ante todas tus novedades y te admiro por ayudar de esta manera a la scene de nintento wii, eres un crak y espero q sigas asi.

muskyjamjam 3 years ago
I have a question! How do you manage to type for example your login when linux is booting? From my knowledge, the wii does not have a keyboard right?
GlowingDarker 3 years ago
USB keyboard, same with mouse.
kev1130 3 years ago
No way!! Even if your right, you cannot plug in both of them! There is only one usb port on the wii.
GlowingDarker 3 years ago
no there are 2
meltyman911 3 years ago
You can use an USB HUB, so you have up to 4 slots for each USB connector:
1 Slot for USB HD
1 Slot for a 4 USB hub-> Here you connect the Mouse and Keyboard
nuvalo 3 years ago
INCORRECT THERE ARE 2 ON THE BACK!
ZeroD3lta 3 years ago
lol how is it incorrect, he said he uses hub to get more then 2 usb's, he did not say he has 4 or any other number
Dukenukem155 3 years ago
I was talking about GlowingDarker. He says there was only one. Look at his comment on it.
ZeroD3lta 3 years ago
also, theres a usb to PS/2 converter, in which you can plug in both a mouse and keyboard in 1 port
