  • evander ear so fuck up

  • They say James Toney would beat Mike Tyson In a boxing match and some what believe it. But I realy think James would try to fight Mike instead of boxing him and he would get knock if he does.lol And thats why idk who whould win against Toney and Mike thats realy a toss up ring side please.lmbo

  • Toney is one of the most underrated boxers ever. I love to see fighters emulate his style in the ring!

  • JT, greatest pure talent in boxing history.

  • @Robstailey Yep, very talented..............too bad he stuck around so long.........now he sounds pretty bad and has to take meds due to the fact that his pitiutary is not kicking out enough of certain hormones........brain damage.

  • One of the best "throwback" fighters of our earlier generation. Toney knows how to pick, roll, and slip punches. If you want to learn the art of defense, watch James Toney. "A true craftsmen; of his craft (despite the negativity. I, merely, watch his skills)."

  • 1:03 James Toney against the ropes is hilarious.

  • ha .. 2 cheater head butters going at it ..

  • I'm by no means a Klitschko fan but these guys wouldn't have a chance against Viatli in his prime.....even Wladimir is so tall that you can't get inside their jab and they do that for 12 and they go home with the title

  • @springfield03sniper vatali yeah but not vlad.

  • Holyfield was still a good fighter when this fight took place. People need to stop trying to deminish James Toney. He beat Ruiz and drawed Ruiz, He beat a very good Rahman leading up to this fight. He is 7-3 since this fight and beat Nikolai Valuev in 2008 for the WBA but was robbed of the victory. He's fought some game opponents since and is still winning. Holyfield is fighting Aleksandr Povetkin in december 2011. So stop discriminating Toney, He beat down a still great fighter in Holyfield.

  • @AKAMUSICkeepit100 Burger King was closing so James closed the show...Then he closed BK

  • @AKAMUSICkeepit100 holyfield was still a GOOD fighter, but he was a great fighter in his prime, your statement is almost like saying larry holmes beat down a great fighter in ali when everyone knows that ali was just to old and had taken to much in his career to fight

  • @jimmycollins1234 no that is far from true , This Holyfield that fought Toney would rape Ali that fought Homes. Ali barely through punches. Holyfield fought a war in this fight and would have beat most any other heavyweight fighter on that night; but not James Toney.

  • @AKAMUSICkeepit100 are u stupid? holyfield was finished when this fight took place. are u saying james toney wouldve beat holyfield in his prime? if so ur a fucking idiot. james toney is a really good fighter. holyfield is a great fighter. theres a difference. he was old for this fight.

  • @cwalkingweasle I can agree that Holyfield is past his prime in this fight. Finished? Definately not. Toney himself wasn't exactly in superb form for this fight, either. Don't forget that he wasn't always a heavyweight.

  • @Warmonger1178 yea i feel u but lets be honest. if they wouldve fought at both thier primes holyfeild would have beat him. holyfield was a animal

  • @cwalkingweasle I would think that you're right...Holyfield probably would have beat Toney if they fought when they were both in their prime, likely because Holyfield was a heavyweight and Toney was a middleweight (I think...maybe welterweight?)...

  • @Warmonger1178 Toney would have to cut off his legs to be a welterweight. He struggled with making weight as a middleweight. He was at his best as a light heavy/cruiser. A close to prime Holyfield would work Toney over. Just watch him in this fight....When have you ever seen him tire so easily? When have you ever seen him struggle so much with his left hook? Something was seriously wrong with him.....Looked like the 3rd Bowe fight all over again.

  • @Warmonger1178 he fought at middleweight. but remember that holyfield was a blown up heavyweight. he wasnt naturally a heavyweight. he was much smaller than everybody else but the reason he did it was because all the big money fights were at heavyweight and he knew that was the only way to get respect. hes still underrated. ppl dont give holyfield enough credit

  • Toney displayed some amazing skill in this fight and Ken Shamrock says he,s gonna stand n bang with him. If Toney can regain the form he showed on this night Ken's gonna get KO'd.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 yea they had day jobs and became mma champs....toney had a boxing championship and got treated like a prostitute LOLOLOLOL

  • @cpaignforeva2010 lmao gay porn. thats all you ignorants have to say....yes go and watch paquiao the best boxer in the world fight worthless fighters.. i bet thats really fun.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 thats exactly why boxing is dead. overpaid fighters who get to fight whoever they want at a time of their choosing(gayweather) in mma we see the fights we want and fighters get paid less...maybe thats why its a better sport. idiot

  • @daisylovesmoy -i lol at u mma douches who say boxing is dead...it's like you all feel threatened by it or something...boxing has been around for a hell of a lot longer than mma and it's here to stay...so get over it.

  • @jimmah1967 lol the up and comer is always the threat...no the old timer you idiot. boxing is threatened by mma not the other way around...use your brain.

  • Bad think about Toney entering MMA is that now you have MMA nutcases hanging around every JT thread..

  • @TheBestBoxingGame A true fight fan appreciates all combative sports.

  • @Immortalsyn83 And I do, I just dont appreciate MMA nutcases.

  • @Immortalsyn83 Which means I like MMA, but not MMA nutcases, they are not true fight fans, only MMA fans, and wants sports as boxing to die. Thats why they around boxing threads like flies on shit.

  • @TheBestBoxingGame Neither sport is in any jeopardy of going extinct, they are both billion dollar industries.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 Too bad boxing is going down and MMA is going up. Even Hopkins says MMA is better. And also your odviously butthurt if you call it mmgay. Dont hate homie!

  • cotto loses and fights paquiao....clottey loses and fights paquiao.....margarito loses and fights paquiao...marquez loses and fights paquiao....mayweather.....rarely fights....damn this sport is dead. LMAO

  • @daisylovesmoy -So Shammy's gonna stand n bang with Toney...that fight should last about 10 seconds..LOOOOL.

  • @jimmah1967 LOOOOL...you are funny....so anyway did you see that fight between couture and Toney?...that toney is a beast mah boy! pay yo light bill! LMAOROFL!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

  • @daisylovesmoy -If Randy was to do a boxing match with Toney that wouldnt make it outa the first rd either...Randy is always gonna win an mma match with a boxer.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 lol thats exactly what hopkins said now hes all over the ufc's nuts LMAOOOOOOOO bitch cry because your sport is half dead.

  • I remember when Holyfield was stopped by Bowe in 1995,many pundits and experts, including Ray Leonard, begged him to stop as he was considered finished even then.Taking nothing away from Toney but this fight was 8-9 years after Evander was already considered past his peak.Possibly even at his peak he would have struggled with Toney who was always slick.

  • boxers are more skilled than mma fighters? at what? Boxing? Yeah... I tend to agree

  • @elementfool. i agree.DOPE

  • was watching MMA the other night on sky sports 3 one of the sponsors was a company called Official Watches.co.uk excellent website i bought a watch for much less than i was qouted in the store..GET ON IT BOYS!!!!!!!!!

  • you can say that except ufc has more skill watch how crazy a olympic wrestling match in the lower weights like 140 you need everything

  • James toney easily wins the award for the most rolls on the back of one man's neck.

  • @ScottishNonBeliever if your talking street fight i think it could go any way 50 50 two arms two legs not bias i like mma but any submissions like an arm-bar, triangle you could bite the man with your teeth and i am sure he would be quick to release ,and choke holds grab the nuts and sweep the legs

  • @ScottishNonBeliever HAHAHA mma homos always have jokes.

  • @sammmmyrkr456 well no fucking shit. Obviously if a boxer is like 100lbs heavier than a wrestler, the boxers gnna win regardless. It be the same way, the other way around. Size obviously plays a huge difference in the outcome of a fight. I'm not disagreeing with you there. But if you put a diehard wrestler against a diehard boxer and they're both the same weight, the wrestlers gonna win if he can take down the boxer which would be likely to happen.

  • @sammmmyrkr456 If I was a black belt in Jujuitsu or if i was collegiate wrestler, then i probably could kick a boxers ass. All you would have to do is take him down to the ground and hes done. Want an example? Go watch UFC118 Randy Couture vs James Toney. You'll see exactly what I mean. All boxing is are a bunch of pussies with big gloves just throwing punches and nothing else.

  • @sammmmyrkr456 Boxing is old school, 20th centrury. Nowadays its not just about how hard you can punch, its about how good you can fight. Fighting consists of not just punching, but wrestling, submissions etc. If you can't do at least 2 of those, then you shouldn't fight at all.

  • the left hook that evander throws at 42-43 seconds looks fake. i never noticed that before but now i do.

  • Boxing is part of UFC. One isn't better than the other, they're both MMA. Boxing is a part of MMA. All this talk about how one is better than the other is stupid.

  • does the left hook that evander throws at 42-43 seconds look fake. i never noticed that before but now i do. This fight could have been fixed

  • toney did well to stop iron chinned holyfield not many have

  • Evander has and always will be one of my favorite fighters, I do though, believe he should call it quits..he's too old and just doesn't have the snap and energy he use to have..u have to know when to stop...

  • if toney got back down to this weight he could have a couple good fights left.

  • Ive disliked Holyfield his entire career, but this is just sad to see. He´s a champion and should retire with dignity, not clouden his career with bum fights

  • in there prime at cruiser weight this fight would've been the G.O.A.T! Real men Fighting...........the last of there kind in boxing.

  • lol, boxing is so gay

  • @yahoopl3 right love both sports im a big gsp and manny fan but a two guys rollin arond on the ground and one on the other seen a lot more gay to me just to give your dumbass brain some insight

  • @kiddkidd1234 spare me that old cliche you dumb faggot...little shits like you have been saying that for years...that's like saying a sport is gay because they wear shorts and show their legs...boxing is gay because it's not real fighting...it's fighting with dumbfuck rules...pull your head out of your ugly ass, kid

  • @yahoopl3 lol your profanity shows your desperation and lack of overall vocabulary, you've much to glean from even a 6th grader. Go back to your KKK rallies and your Jersey Shore, or watch your mother take a splattering shit in the wal-mart bathroom and birth ur 5th brother and 2nd cousin simultaneously.

    GG :)

  • @superhuther son, i want you to do humanity a favor and use your dimunitive mind to accomplish the following tasks

1.) Kick your fat whore mother in the cunt for having the audacity to sire a piece of shit like you

2.) Find a highway and do that Barney dance your other inbred brother taught you how to perform in the trailer. Do it until that one giant ball of shit that you call your body is splattered into millions of tiny little specks of shit. The world can't thank you enough for this.

  • @kiddkidd1234 hahaha funny how your dumbass think you know eveything, hey dumb fuck do u ever hit your head and think how stupid and dumb you sound when you say shit like boxin is gay?? you fuckin A1 moron. hell come to think of it maybe your gay fag boy, and ohh you got shit still sock in your teeth mouhahaha

  • @LazaaMMA if you're good enough at boxing, you won't get taken to the ground.

Footwork, keeping distance from someone who likes to uses takedowns and jabs jabs jabs to wear the other guy down.

  • @LazaaMMA yeah my bad, i dont know why i had pictured an mma fighter the wrong way haha

  • @LazaaMMA :O not always i mean, it can be a thai fighter taught to grapple, or a kickboxer also taught to grapple! ;)

  • boring, too slow

  • two big steroid users

  • toney would be destroyrd by evander in his prime in the first few rounds.Could toney have beat Foreman,Tyson.Bowe,Moorer and have a draw againest lewis no.He happy to knock out a old man but unwilling to face klichco.

  • @MegaEvilempire That is absolutely untrue Holyfield does poorly against boxers with odd styles no matter if he was in his prime or not JT was too slick for him. Alex Stewart made Holyfield look bad Chris Byrd, Michael Moorer. If you are a semi slick boxer or left hander and Holyfield was befuddled. An orthodox boxer that comes forward was Holyfields bread and butter fight.

  • @MegaEvilempire errr, foreman was old, tyson was post prison (ie crap) bowe beat holy twice, moorer beat him, lewis beat him and gto robbed with a draw.. you not really making a good case..

  • Holyfield is a legend

  • @Deeznuwts legend suck cock knoked out

  • 1:07 :D

  • Holy sprzedał walkę, lekko się klepią, ostatecznie wywraca się po ciosie w korpus :/ a trener od razu rzuca ręcznik. Bez komentarza:/ I think Holy took money for this fight

  • i hate toney how could u hurt a legend u bastard go find a tredmill and use it for once dammit

  • stop comparing boxing to mma they're both difficult in their own different areas. Each one is challenging in its own way.

  • Can we all just agree that boxing and MMA are both great sports in their own rights? Without completely changing their training, a typical MMA fighter would fail in boxing, and a typical boxer would fail in MMA.

  • @elementfool but in a streetfight with just two guys doing whatever it takes to win the mma fighter will always do it

  • @metzyboy who gives a shit shut up kid.

  • @metzyboy Ur crazy a street fight involves a whole lot more than what u think it does, whoever is the dirtiest, and most unrelenting wins mma/boxing has nothing to do with it

  • @elementfool Amen, by the time one got proficient enough to be successful in the other sport, the MMA fighter would become a boxer and the boxer an MMA fighter. Just like I think Nick Diaz is going to lose, but he is approaching it more realistically then Toney did MMA, so I don't think it will be quite the embarrassment. And that has nothing to do with the sport, simply as dumb as Nick Diaz is, he is still smarter than Toney

  • @elementfool No the training is not so different. Running, jumping, walking long distances with weights, limited weightlifting, bodyweight stuff, etc. The difference is the ruleset. Boxers have been fighting at this ruleset for circa 4 000 years and have developed their technique around that. Boxing is a great base for MMA but you have to make adjustments. Like bobbing and weaving - not such a good idea with kicks involved. I still think the absolute top of boxing would wipe out the MMA crop tho

  • @DestroyerAlexandros The conditioning might be similar but you can't deny that the training is very different. How many boxers do you see drilling take-down defense?

  • @elementfool Well obviously the technical training is different but from the viewpoint of exercises they are almost the same across all combative sports. The difference is that boxers need a little more durability to be able to take 12 rounds of pounding whereas MMA guys need a little more power to be able to finish fights quickly with the 4 oz gloves.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros So, yes, the training is very different. My original statement still stands.

  • @elementfool No, that's not the point. MMA is a mix of styles and we all know boxing is the best paid sport and the most widespread fighting style for a reason, so we feel insulted when a bunch of failed football players turned brazilian jiu jitsu brown belts claim otherwise.

  • love it. this holifield was trying his dirty tactics, headbutting, but toney's head is way harder

  • It is just amazing... that an out of shape and undersized man like Toney could do the things he did to Holyfield .... Did you see? ...He totaly controlled him ... the whole fight, and then dropped him like a sac of potatoes! Man .. either Toney is an incredible bozing genius or Holyfield is a total fraud!

  • @hakmetlakdar

Well your an idiot, hoylfield is wayyyyyy past it here and the far superior boxer in his prime

  • @403766 -- Is there a bigger idiot than you! If Holyfield felt he was past his prime, then what was he doing in the ring? As far as I know he is still fighting and he holds a world title (albeit a Mickey mouse one). Anyhow, how about Toney, was he in his prime then? What a loser you are .... By the way, if you wanna if Holyfield is past his prime, just let him play with your wife for 30 min; she'll tell you whether he is past is prime or not! That way we will definitely have the true answer!

  • @hakmetlakdar

Becuase he's broke and enjoys figthing prehaps?

And yes after the 2nd lewis fight he turned slow and past it he starts loosing to shitty guys like ruiz, a guy cannot fight in the sort of battles holyfield did for 2 decades andbe fine, hes over 40 here.

Watch him take undisputed champ buster's belt and then see him fight for some kfc belt he is way outta it, he was refuseda boxing license by some states due to "diminishing skills"

  • Toney is a fuck.holyfield should win this fight!dammit

  • you stupid cunt dick riding dana white fans...stop bringing retarded topics(mma vs boxing)

to these videos there is no point to them, both are fighting sports and???

totally different obviously, why watch this if your just gonna talk about mma is better? go watch what you like dumb asses

oh and a last thing, to this mma makes more money than boxing. why the fuck does it matter how much the owner of the company makes? the top class mma fighters DO NOT make as much as top class boxers so wtf

  • @Nemesis2151 Lol shows how much you know about this dying sport,WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO world Heavyweight champion signed a $780,000 5 year contract 4 years ago, Randy coutor made over $800,000 in Promotion deals alone this year and cain velasquez current world heavyweight number 1 UFC champ is made over $600,000 USD just from his last 4 fights alone and GSP signed a contract for $865,000 USD just for 2011 excluding UFC and clothing brand promotions....K.O

  • @legit2085 i don't even wanna argue with you im just going to point out you brought the heavyweight division...the worst division currently for boxing man....of course the KLIT is gonna make less than everyone

  • @legit2085 dude 15 years ago mike tyson was gettin 12 million dollars for a single fight ! ( iam both a boxing and mma fan)

  • @taijihitman mma fighters are severely underpaid. they make up for it in endorsements tho or some other manner i'm guessing

  • @legit2085 maybe hw boxing aint paying that well, but look at the kind of money mayweather, pacquiao etc make, then stfu you clown. UFC fighters dont make shit compared to boxers. A pro boxing noob in the UK (even with losing records, the type of bums that are used to build a record for talented fighters) makes more than most new ufc fighters.

  • @legit2085 sorry to bust your bubble but boxing fighters still make more $ than mma fighters.

  • you fuckin mma dick riders stop bringing retarded conversations (mma vs boxing)

to these videos please there is no point in them

  • a couple of steriod users

  • @aqlpskwo i WAS a big boxing fan until mma took OVER. you have to compare because boxing has been the number one fighting form for the u.s.a. now its not even considered exciting. i dont watch friday night fights and hbo has wack fight on. there is no comparison.... so thats why we shouldnt compare... hell look at the old ass bums fighting in this fight.... thats all they have are has-beens. fighting is fighting and boxers couldnt win in a fight with an mma pro. point blank.

  • @sliver64209 Don´t compare mma to boxing seeing as you changed to boxing to mma so quick proves that your no boxing fan. and i´ve never seen a mma go to boxing but i´ve seen boxers go to ufc and mma and still win.

  • @aqlpskwo Why compare?? Because thats all everyone seems to do these days. I too am sick of hearing boxing fans say its still the no.1 fighting sport in the world, quite simply, its not!

  • IF ANYONE THINKS THAT BOXING IS STILL NUMBER ONE..... THEN CHECK THE STATS...... UFC TAKES IN WAY MORE CASH THAN BOXING IN A YEAR.... BOXING HAS ONE SUPER FIGHT A YEAR, THATS IT.... UFC HAS 4-5 BIG PAY-PER VIEW EVENTS A YEAR. I USED TO WATCH BOXING, NOW THERE IS NO ONE LEFT, AND NO ONE IS UP AND COMING. ALL HAS-BEENS AND NEVER-WAS.

  • Comment removed

  • Another ufc vs boxing subject. I love the ufc. Becouse they actualy have big tittle fights like every month and boxing doesn't. But honestly there's only a few fights I would pay to see of the ufc. I rather pay for boxing. It's more skill. Plus ufc will never be as big as boxiing , no matter what Dana white says.

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 its already bigger than boxing?

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 it's already way bigger than boxing is. Maybe not as big as boxing was at its prime, but for now it is. When UFC hits its prime I'm sure it will be bigger than boxing's prime.

  • @XxPropheticxX At the end of the day... who gives a monkeys ass if MMA is more popular than boxing.. as a matter of fact its not,, Boxing still has highest PPV sales.. if you like MMA watch it,, and bloody shut up.. they are 2 different sports.. its like saying ummm football is more popular than rugby... so bloody what/!!!!!!!

  • @LastWhiteRhino Right on the money, Boxing is a sport the sweet science, I personally don't give a dam if Toney can defend himself on the street or in a parking lott,

  • @XxPropheticxX

Bro UFC is not as big as boxing and never will be.

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 it already has yeah muay thai with kickboxing boxing wrestling bjj judo is way more skill than hands. and it is already passing boxing

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89

    l o l

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 Grappling alone is more complicated than boxing.

Ufc never going to be as big as boxing? We'll lets take a look here. Ufc isn't a sport. Mixed-martial arts is. So there we have it, mma is overcoming boxing. happy?

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 UFC gets more ppvs per year. So how is Boxing bigger than the UFC?

  • @fakeandgay69 theres no big fights in boxing at this moment.... and the only ppv fights im going to pay for in MMA is Diaz vs GSP and jds vs Cain...boxing has bigger #s in ppv fights when big names fight for example (de la hoya vs Mayweather) plus just look at how much the difference is moneywise on fighter salary... so how is ufc bigger then boxing?

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 Mosley/Mayweather had less buys than UFC 100.

  • @fakeandgay69 well yeah no shit... who wanted to see that fight? old ass mosley.......im talking big fights.....like oscar dela hoya vs Mayweather.....in their prime both...u should know better

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 delahoya/Mayweather was 4 years ago. Mosley/Mayweather is the last fight I can think off that got big promotion. One gigantic event every half a decade doesn't make a successful sport. Let alone more successful than an organization that consistently puts out solid events every month.

  • @fakeandgay69 lol! yes i agree whit u... but u still dont get it... its 11:35pm here...the ufc is great.. alot of big fights in the near future...thats what i watch mostly now....bu its never going to be as big as boxing in its prime....

  • @CaMaRo1RoC89 why not? The UFC has been on a path of seemingly exponential growth for the past decade now... Besides, your original comment said that it would never be as big as boxing is now rather than boxing was in it's prime. How do you define big? You agree with all the points I say and admit to watching more UFC/MMA than boxing.

  • @fakeandgay69 yes i do watch it more since theirs more big fights at this momentt... and what i mean for big is just look back at how huge boxing was...and the growth of the ufc isnt the same as it was 2 years ago... its still growing, but just not as fast... the fight in mma that is going to make top dollar is gsp vs diaz and cain vs jds in the near future... but those will fall short to a big fight between mayweather vs paquiao...cant wait for JDS vs Cain... my money is on Cain

  • @fakeandgay69 ahahahaha stop trolling dude boxing is just as big as ufc (if not biggest the old farts like boxing). they are different combats sports its like comparing NBA with NFL. some pople like boxing some like ufc now stfu and go back to ya mums basement (hating cause your a fail troll)

  • another mike tyson lol

  • im sick of this boxing and mma debate. i love boxing its great entertainment, but i also have respect for mma , it requres lots of technique, and to say its not entertaining is fucking stupid. Just watch Anderson Silvas KO's.

  • why not compare MMA to boxing I meen all these boxers talk smack about MMA and then when they get beat everybody wants to be like dont compare the two because they are completely different. Well they are digging there own graves because they think they can compete with MMA. I meen you dont see MMA fighters running there mouths to boxers even though anderson silva went and boxed just to prove a point and he actually did good. So I meen boxing is cool and all but you cant compare.

  • @cornbread198213 Anderson silva did not do good in boxing. Actually he won one, and got koed in another. By a bum.

  • put brock lesnar in the ring with a top ten heavyweight and watch what happens.

    lights out...

  • @keithsink yeah, glassjaw lesnar. aint he great

  • @keithsink well of course hes not a boxer you moron

  • Stop comparing Boxing to UFC!!!

  • @MKvsdctester2 you mean to mma, ufc is just a freakin promotion.

  • @MKvsdctester2

Boxing... The sport for those who like standing still while getting hit... UFC for those who like an athletic competition with more than getting punched and standing still.

  • @larsen550 ?boxing standing still and getting hit...wtf do u watch

  • @MKvsdctester2 boxing can kill ufc fighters in less than 30 sec

  • @Dochopper46 that's assuming it's a boxing match.

    mma fighters KICK, GRAPPLE, ELBOW.

Look at Toney vs Couture. loll

  • @JaymezF James Toney is olddddd anddd overweight xD

  • @JaymezF yeah but if you train a pro boxer to kick, grapple and elbow, ufc fighter is shit compared to him

  • @MKvsdctester2 amen!

  • @MKvsdctester2 I know right? How dare these people compare a sport with a sports organization...

  • @Kole777

Hey guess what, the only place to box is at golds gym, because that's the name I see the most so it must be true!...

  • @MKvsdctester2 UFC? do you mean mix martial arts lol

  • tyson is stopped for the first time

  • @gtf2hot

    I think you mean 'pawn'.

A 'pond' is a small body if water

  • @MrMaxoveride So if someone in the MMA came to boxing and tried to fight someone they would die too. You can't say that. Plus if James Toney worked on take down defense for 20 plus years he would slay the fucking shit out of any UFC fighter.

  • @MrMaxoveride 3:17 is not less than a minute

  • no doubt toney was the shit in his prime. pwr in both hands, chin, elusive. that midlife crisis must be hell...

  • Couture is an excellent athlete, no question. However, if I'm in a barfight staring down 2 opponents, guess where all the grabbing, hugging, and submission moves are going to get me?

MMA is not "fighting". Ask Couture to take on two opponents at once and see how far his MMA clutch/grab/choke skills take him. On the other hand, put Toney in a bar fight against 2 opponents and my guess is he lays them both out AND sticks around for the all-you-can-eat buffet afterwards.

  • @otrexotrex Ok just so you know most MMA actually all of them know stand up not just grappling I meen it is a all around type thing you have to know stand up as well as ground I bet if I get in a fight with you and take you down you will not know what to do. I meen alot are kickboxers and all other types of stand up. I meen I do MMA and I have seperate classes just for stand up. I did stand up for about 8 years before I went into the military and started ground after that.

  • I knew It was all over when I saw that Tonys tits were bigger than those UFC hotties.

  • @chronomax1 LOL!!!!

  • UFC has long taken over boxing. And after the James Toney beat down that Randy Couture gave him, it signifies just that. I have always enjoyed boxing and the grace that it carries with it. But Toney has put a bad taste in everyone's mouth for boxing. Absolutely no respect for a legendary Holyfield. Tony's great on his feet, but looked like a fish outta water when he was on his back fighting for his life and reputation @ 118. UFC baby!!!

  • RANDY IS A LEGEND!!!!!!!!!

u really expected a fat strong boxer

to take on a world class althete in the best shape of his life?

  • i hope in return randy will step in a boxing ring and fight toney just like toney lets see whos a worl class athlete randy admit it himself if he is on boxing ring and try to box with james, james will knock him out in 1st round..

  • I'm dissappointed toney didn't throw a punch at couture, but people gotta stop discrediting Toney. I don't see MMA fighters in the boxing ring, until Anderson Silva does it. Then we will see. Peace.

  • see if u put randy in a boxing match vs toney he would loose

but u put randy in the octagon vs toney and u got what happened.

  • @kkillbrb It doesn't matter...Toney was talking shit for about a year prior to his UFC debut last night..saying how UFC fighters were inferior. Toney the Phony got murdered last night vs. a real fighter like Couture. Boxing can move over..UFC is the new fighting sport.

  • @greatriots

UFC is a organization smart one, like WEC.

    MMA is the sport.

  • @kkillbrb Well, it's funny that you say that. Because Toney had all the time in the world to train for Couture, but he chose not to do so until it was too late. He thought that he could just talk shit and destroy Couture on the feet, but in the end, he got choked out like a little bitch. It's okay, boxing fans; you still have Floyd :-P

  • @masamuneofchrome he trained for 9 to 10 months thats along time

  • @LIGHTNINGLEVIS for someone with Couture's abilities? That's like one minute compared to Couture's YEARS of experience. Yeah, I'll give Toney that; if he got into a street fight with some scrub, he would destroy him. But against someone with more than one weapon to use, he's done for. That was shown in the Couture fight. I'm not saying that Toney is a garbage fighter, because he is not; I'm saying that he COULD'VE trained longer if he wanted. He rather chose to disregard his WRESTLING training.

  • @masamuneofchrome You are wrong though, Toney trained for a long period of time. Even still, 9 months is not enough to learn a sport. Furthermore, some of these elements are natural I'm sure, and it's pretty hard for Toney to imprint things into his mind when he is no longer a young buck. I give a lot of respect to Toney, not for the trash-talking, but for the fact he stepped up to the plate and tried something that he wasn't the best in. Hopefully if he decides to come back, he's better.

  • Couture finished Toney in the first round folks... Let me ask a question. Does it hurt?

  • @togglenuts it actually did hurt for some reason

  • @togglenuts nah, boxing>ufc any day... put a ufc fighter in the ring with boxing rules and they will lose...

  • @boozaaa we dont what to see who the best boxer is we want to see who the worlds best fighter are and boxer are not it

  • @LIGHTNINGLEVIS how can u say that did u see an mma fighter step in a boxing ring..

  • @princekody Actually yeah they have

  • @boozaaa Haha... you still have Floyd. Don't worry; once he leaves boxing, though, boxing is dead. No one except the die-hard fans watches it now. It's obsolete; why would you watch a sport where you just fight with your hands, when you can watch a sport where EVERY aspect of fighting is tested? Yeah, I loved boxing as a kid; but now that era is over, and now the UFC is taking over.
