@JGH1988 Please don't speak for all Christians. I don't personally believe that Allah is "just a title;" it is GOD in Arabic. Not all names are translated the same in any given language. And really, does it matter what name HE is called? Does that take away from HIS attributes? If so then, should Christians step back and wonder why Jesus is Jesus and not Emmanuel as Gabriel had told Mary her baby would be called? Or is that not a name and just a title as well?

If Emmanuel was supposed to be Yahuwshua's name then he would be known as Emmanuel.. Emmanuel actually is a title it means "El is with us. Just like in the old testament Yahuwshua would be called counselor, mighty father..etc.

It first says admonish her, which could mean getting counseling try to work things out, talk it over. There is tons of things that admonish could mean.Then the 2nd instruction given is " don't share the bed with her " meaning don't give her the pleasures of sex, that physical affection, things of that nature. So with all that how does Islam promote abuse towards women ? Its only a last resort
