hey my middle plate doesnt have the top conector for the screen or any other connections to the motherboard, just a silver plate with a sim card slot and the connection for the battery. should i just buy a genuine 1? its just this is all that came when i purchased the housing

Hey i need help, i have a bold 9780 and i have a white screen and people told me it was the LCD but when i opened up my phone to take a better look the LCD looks fine but the middle plate the wire doesn't connect to the piece anymore what i mean if that the wire only connects to the LCD on top but the bottom isnt connected anymore the Middle Plate and i was wonder is it the LCD or the Middle Plate?

Hi the camera is on the Mother board, and the flash is hidden under SD card slot on the middle plate, i hope this helps,

Hi, the first time is always hard, you may find it easier to use your nails to unclip the housing, it will be very tight though, my phone comes apart everyday, that's why it looks easy, generally i use my nails as i can apply more pressure, you will here the clips snap as they release, just try to use more force, It will come off, I hope this helps,

question.....i was trying to go along with ur video but once it came time to remove the middle plate....my phone did not want to come apart. Yours looked like it just slide right out but after the 4 screws and everything mine did not want to pop out.

Hi, i just took a look for you and NO dont change your middle plate, you just need a new speaker unit,

the product code on our website is 41097, all you have to do is pull the old one off your mother board and stick the new one in the same place,

Hi, i take you mean the mute switch it self, i have just had a look at that for you, pull the rubber cover out the way, if the rubber comes off dont worry it will go back on, then using your fingers pull up on the switch, they are just pushed into the frame, and theres no cables or wires so dont worry, this is also the same for the side buttons,

yes the phone booted up fine but as you no the BB takes a while hehehe, there are two middle plate kits, one with camera and one without, so pick the right one for your handset, and i will look into another video where i can show you how to change the camera over as well, but maybe late next week, im very busy at the moment,
