This is the first game in years where I've actually felt proud and satisfied upon completing it as provided a great challenge :)  The later quests are very tough (though obviously easier when you figure out the stragety but finding it is a different matter :) ) Some quests involved having to act really quickly or risk being overwhelmed at critical stages.

Seriously, This game is the worst most abysmal game I have played in this decade, the AI is retarded, hotkeys suck, the crack fueled script and english is awfull and it has the most illogical weird ass intro I have ever seen in video game history.

Some russians made this garbage. I know what Im talking about, just go play the original majesty instead, it's gameplay is a gem.

Ummmm.....there are 3 major changes from Majesty 1 (not adding graphics): you can't build temples or trading posts outside predetermined locations, you don't have random generated maps but a campaign and you can carry with you a high level hero to the next mission. In any other respect it's pretty much the same with Majesty 1 you loved/liked and thus i ask you.....WTF is with all this hate?

I am not a hater... but you must understand change not necessarily is good.... usually ofcourse people are looking for something new.... but it should always have the denominator of having a good quality.... this is just not a good game thats all... the programmers should learn lessons (if they can) and move on with their next games. I'm so mad I bought this game. I am going to write a scathing review of it. I'm glad I didn't pay retail for this. It is just awful.

The fans on the old majesty forums clamored for a Majesty 2. Cyberlore lost the rights and IC took over to make a quick buck. Only 6 months later the game is in the dollar bin. This is compared to other 3rd tier developers that maintain retail price for 8 months.

It is a horrible game and the launch was abysmal. save your money do not buy this. get MJ1

I still prefer the original Majesty over this one. I'm more fond of the sandbox mode and randomly generated map than a story driven campaign. I don't need a story, I just want every game to be different, especially the map.

This is the most frustrating game i have played in years.

Their idea of a challenge is just have the enemy AI rush you with hordes of enemies from the first minute you start off the game with no experienced heroes.

I was hoping it would be more quests and other fun tasks, but they used no imagination making this game.

when you start out turtle up and build at least one guard tower and dont explore too much just stay around your town and take out the monster camps close by. Guard towers are your friends use them wisely

Yeah Paradox actually published my two favourite games that I play at the moment, Majesty and Mount & Blade. If you haven't played Mount & Blade I HIGHLY recommend it. I'ts an awesome game!

Essentially you own a kingdom, you setup guilds and put out reward posters and stuff. AI Driven heroes come to your kingdom and fight enemy monsters and do quests and crud. It's a pretty fun game! Especially in multiplayer!
