  • That sucks you have all those crazy gun laws I could drive to my local shop and buy a brand new Glock here in Ohio I have the M&P 9mm full size its my ccw gun and I love it I hope you learn to love it

  • Now that is a great deal for three mags and great review,

  • you will also come to find that this gun is indeed superior to a glock in every way as a lot of glock owners as far as on this very youtube are finding.

  • this gun is much better looking than a glock, it has, much much sleeker and better looking lines and over design as opposed to the bland brick/2x4 glock design.i am sorry if i offend you i know you like the glock and all i respect the glock but honestly the glock is squarest non-ergo butt-ugliest firearm ever conceived imho but they work. the design is not similar to me at all outside the striker fire gun design, this is in another league of looks, even old stubborn die hard 1911 guys like it.

  • Wow, thats a really stupid law! A gun is a gun.

  • @fetus2genius1 You must be a idiot.

  • love the video :) but I HATE when you say "K" after every single assembly/dis-assembly step.

  • suffered head up ass syndrome at my first classifier.

  • @bonesoncampus me too

  • I just ordered this range kit package, I should have it by the end of next week. I can't wait! I thought we had some pretty retarded handgun laws in Canada. Our gun laws and criminal laws are all federal laws. The USA gun laws and criminal laws are state laws. Massachusetts sounds like it might be worse than Canada. I didn't think that was possible. haha

    Merry Christmas everyone!

  • @faheykj MA....oh well......but the M&P, you will really like it. look into an apex trigger kit, its like a pro trigger job. good luck and merry christmas too you as well.

  • @johniac7078

I've looked at those already. I'll likely have to get it shipped to where my folks are staying in Florida because I don't think there are any dealers in Canada yet. I want get some trigger time with the stock set up and see how it goes first.

    Thanks John!

  • @faheykj Hey did you received your gun? I am looking at getting one also. I live in Canada also and was wondering where you got your and how much did you spend if you don't mind me asking?

  • At first I thought those mags looked weird, then I remembered you mentioned living in MA. Is there any hope for the 10 round limitation being lifted in the future?

  • @prowler725 sadly, no. basically it is impossible to get any high caps for the M&P. I'd be happy if MA just let Colt sell pistols here......or a lot of other makers for that matter.

  • hey i was just wondering which 92 was your firearm. was it an A1, FS? i don't think you mentioned it. and i was wondering if it was the Italian model or USA?

  • It's easier to field strip a glock

  • You want to see the review . . . skip to 04:38 - help yourself :)

  • Ya man feel your pain Live in cali.. work at a gun shop our laws are crazy.. we can still get most glocks but the range kits here are not allowed.. good vid hope to see more from you..

  • vid is a little choppy for some reason, probably has to do with my connection. anyways how much did you pay for this? i can get a px4 storm for $485 but i dont like the rotating barrel...

  • I love my Beretta but I hate the double action trigger pull. Can that be lightened?

  • @rockstarr469 sure, bring it to a gunsmith the really knows berettas

  • What's the difference in the pro vs regular?

  • @pray4chicken I think the trigger.

  • The gun that comes with this kit. I'm wanting an M&P with NO THUMB SAFETY, NO MAG SAFETY, AND ABSOLUTELY NO INTERNAL LOCK. Is this the case?

  • @skiphreak12 yes

  • great video

  • Nice review.

  • @ricksn777 LOL. You don't get it do you? It's a MA trigger....do you know what that means? Now be a good boy and go look up what that means. Ever fire an M&P, or do you just go by "what everyone on YT says"? Is YT you source fact?

  • good info here..thumbs up opening statement..nice looking pistol and set up..

  • Nice review. I owned a Glock 17 that I traded for an M&P 9 and am very happy I made the trade. My hands are on the smallish side and the grip on the M&P is much better suited to me. Unfortunately the range package wasn't available when i got my M&P.

  • @argo84 thanks. I really like the M&P after I had the trigger done. the range kit is nice, but now you have he advantage of getting something YOU really like. Blade tech is great, but so is comp tac, safariland....you may actually find something that works better for you. I think that blade tech and comp tac offer package deals, that are really good. I would try a mag loader, that last round is tough to get in.

  • Hey John, really enjoy your reviews and your frank opinions. I recently joined and have started shooting IDPA matches. I am curious - what is the magazine you are using in this video? Does IDPA have a monthly type magazine?

  • @Kymaureen1 Thanks! If you join IDPA, you will get a subscription to their magazine. It is really good. Enjoy!

  • is the gun conseable

  • @xDevinx1000 yes, but not easily. there is a compact version.

  • Good luck with the new purchase bro I hear they are good ... Damn your laws are just like ours P220 thats all I own and it amazing we can get Glocks but they are like the 10 inch barrel one LMAO

  • Hi, I was wondering how much did the total package cost?

By the way your video was very informative and up front

    Thanks

  • @spaceman063 about $525

  • i love the m@p im a lefty and i also want to shoot idpa just waiting on my ltc to come in and deff going to get the m@p for my first pistol....and prob a kahr for ccw...good vid man

  • Great review sucks living where you are you can't even buy a new Glock that is crazy. Hey don't discount that loader if you plan on shooting 2000 rounds a month you will learn to love it. Good looking gun I have shot one and it felt just like the Glock in my opinion.

  • Apex makes a great spring reducer. easy swap. there are video's on youtube showing you houw to do it. EASY

  • did you go to four seasons guns in woburn?

  • @bigdollars99 naturally. I love that place the owner and staff are truly good guys.

  • @johniac7078 their website is great for people like me who live 80 minutes away. i try to get up there 3 times per year to get all my ammo. best prices in the state. best shop in the state. My 2 pistols are a SIg P-229 in .40 and a 1911 in .45 so I am thinking about the new Ruger LC9 in 9mm. Just got rid of my S&W 642. Didn't like it as much as I hoped. Good luck with the new handgun, it looks sweet. Looking forward to a range report.

  • Nice gun. I know that here in Quebec (Canada) the police uses the S&W M&P .40 S&W :)

  • Its a nice looking pistol can't wait to see range reports, Thanks

  • I think the gun looks fcuking sexy!!

  • Totally agree with your opening statement. I like to run at least 1000 rounds through mine before I give it a thumbs up. I will not date a Beretta that way I can avoid the legal fees. Looking at the M&P right now as an addition. Enjoy and all the best.

  • The gun looks great! once you fix up the trigger a little bit it will be alot more fun. Btw I think you did the right thing buying the M&P instead of the old Glock. Don't get me wrong i'm a huge glock fan, but to spend roughly the same amount on a 12-year old gun is crazy.

  • @RobbieS223 thanks....actually the old G17 was more money!!!! Can you believe it?

  • @johniac7078 Actually I can. NY has it's own set of equally stupid gun laws:( I saw a pre-ban Glock 19 magazine for $75 at a local gun store.

  • Nice purchase. Would like to hear your opinion on the magazines in terms of quality, loading the 10th round without the uplula, and putting in a full magazine when the slide is not locked backed. Also, the Apex trigger kit helps with that MA trigger.

  • @George8120 yeah, well I shot 300 rounds through it yesterday. all good with the gun, no problems, mags were fine except the tenth round is a bitch to get in. I left the mags loaded to try and soften up the spring a bit. Recharge without a slide lock is not too bad, just have to jam that baby in but nothing out of the ordinary. Talked to a gun smith today, he will do a celebrity home make over on the trigger for me. It'ss just too heavy and a bit gritty. The gun has potential.

  • At least when you divorce your firearm it doesn't take half of what you own and make you pay alimony. Not sure why you didn't like the M&P before? I don't personally own one but I've shot a friends and it is a pretty sweet gun and I always hear good stuff about them.

  • @friskyrabbit LOL, so true about the divorce.
