@Palindromo I agree but Meredith pushed and pushed and pushed him away, even after he defended her like this and told her "I can't leave you." She waits for him to something, anything wrong so she can throw her hands up and emotionally leave him in the dust. Yes, he was pushy and he knew what he was getting in to - but she did too. They're kind of perfect for each other in those ways haha :)

@mel0292 yep but i think he is the vioce of experiance when he defends merideth, he caught his wife in bed with his best friend, so maybe he gets scared and has commitment issues?
I love this. He knows Mer so well and gets it. But, with some people... no matter how much you love them, you can't wait around forever. Meredith needed to get whole and healed on her own first. Now they are together for good. :) I'm so glad.
Derek seems so understanding here. This guy doesn't resemble at all to the Derek who kissed Rose and was so pushy about the dreamhouse and broke up with Mer. It gets to a point where you just hate McDreamy.
That was exactly right....but he needs to tell himself that again after he meets Rose....stupid Rose....he loves Meredith, not Rose..... and he knows Meredith wants him but she doesnt know how to have him, so so true
