i use korda wide gape hooks.wot do u think of them??

Have you used esp big t raptors if so what are your thoughts on the hook?

I now use Gardner D-Ceptors and Fox Armor for all my fishing.

steve if the hooks only going in point,what you going to do to make them into fish on,really intrested in your answer buddy, mike

After a while i put a number of things together and came up with an answer.

The hooks were crap so I replaced them with G-Point and they are very, very strong.

The fish were picking up the bait and violently shaking there heads to shed said hook and bending the hooks.

I do not allow the weight of my lead to be used to shed the hook anymore, or i try to mimimise the risk of it happening.

I have radically changed my setup having a loose but tight'ish line.

I have had better luck since....and that helps too.

v-good thx.. best was 35lb 6oz and had a 32 lb 10oz the same day.... and a shed load of mid twenties... loved it!! off out there again in a couple of months time..
