For me, this is one of the best (and least known) version of this standard. We play a version quite similar (in speed) but without the mastery of Bobby Carcasses band. Tempo is frenetic, compared with all the usual "ballad-style" versions.

The first time I heard Bobby I was blown away. This cat can do it all, no barriers. Afro Cuban, Jazz, Scat, Salsa, etc, etc... Whatever the case, he is exceptional... MAESTRO I salute you...
