WileyCoyote has the knack for capturing the essence of a ship he models. I do not know how to explain it any better than this. And Rifleman has the knack for making any ship look good. His vids were the inspiration for my own. As long as Wiley makes ships and Rifle makes vids, I'm a fan.

the enterprise D represents star trek in a nutshell, diplomacy, family and exploration, it is THE best ship of star trek, graceful, capable, and like Dr McCoy once said, "you treat her like a lady, and she will allways bring you home" kill the D in generations was a very bad idea.

I was never a fan of th Enterprise - D at all. I really like the Sovereign class Enterprise. I have to admit though that this was the best depiction of the Enterprise - D I have ever seen. A lovely job.

Probably about the same as the Enterprise-E. Though it would do a fair amount bit more damage to the Scimitar when Picard rammed it. :D

The Enterprise-E sure looked more stream lined but berman and braga sure didn't give it good cool things to do in the movies and also killing off the D in generations with a bird of prey was just sad.

@smashupdriver Yes and no. You will need a 3d modeling program called 3ds Max, where you can build virtually anything from scratch. For BC itself, you can re-script an existing ship to make it your own unique ship.
