Thanks for the post! I agree that this was an amazing time for Final Fantasy. They managed to do amazing things with so little. The first time I saw this was so emotional...Please get back to your roots, Final Fantasy! I will remember this scene more than I ever remember all of FFXIII.
Other than changing Prince Ralse's "It's a duel" to "Then it's a duel", this felt utterly wrong. It felt like I was remembering things incorrectly, while knowing that this had it all wrong. When you consider the original FFVI was made in 1994, 12 whole years before this GBA version, one wonders whether they even had the right to go screwing around with the lyrics. That was a part of my freaking childhood. :(
I felt like crap when I lost my save file of this.
ya, but it helps lol, nice song, and does anyone else see a similarity when they open the castle scene, doesnt it sound an afwul lot like aeris' theme?

They brought chocobos onstage? Awesome, now that's realism in a theatre.
Anyway, I never fail to cry at this scene. One of the best FF moments in the series.

The Chancellor has an error... he left out the 'n' in 'Prince'

I just got past this part on Anthology, but I think Celes' part flows much better in the original in comparison. <3

This is one of the best examples of what the gaming industry can accomplish when it doesn't focus on flashy and expenseive graphics alone.

It's good. The LYRICS flow w/ the song better, but MAN, that GBA sound sure make the opera voices sound funny! Anybody else notice?

in my opinon this was the best part of ff6

In my opinion, the second best part would be the scene where Celes attempted suicide. Short, but hauntingly beautiful.

This game is just a testament showing how a good story is a good story no matter how many bits or pixles its made with.

Rhyme isn't important in opera, it's the story they tell

Is that really true? If it is, I didn't know that...

I like the GBA opera lyrics better. They finally rhyme.
