  • no parese arte macial parese robot no ai base

  • First position from Jun Fan Gung Fu is totaly wrong. I studied JFGF and the arm is not extend like that, the front leg is not like that, the back leg is incorrect. I never saw nobody in the third position, doesn exist in JKD. Michael Jackson will be proud to see the final of this video...

  • hey checkout this funny video of bob landers making fun of duane kellers stances Bob Landers Comedy JKD

  • The art with the best footwork for stand up fighting is boxing. It is tried, tested and all uneeded movement is gone. Bruce Lee IMHO was slowly inching towards this realization.

  • Reading Teri Tom's books I have found that simplicity is a key factor in JFJKD. When you r receiving a punch, there's no time to think or adjust, just react with simple, but effective counters or evations. And, by the way, I don't remember seeing her with a left lead stance. (She is a certified Sifu by Ted Wong)

  • im sorry but cudnt understand any of the stance ,how do u first get into those stances

  • Glad you enjoyed watching the video

  • This guy is full of shit.

  • The purpose of this video was primarily to show the different fighting postions that were used during that phase of Bruces development. And they all had thier place in JKD History @ some point & time.

We know the most common Bi-Jong used by Bruce was the 50/50 or a slightly modified version of it.

  • @rotech9 I was lucky enough to train with a couple of Bruce's students, and have met several of them. I'm no master...pretty poor student if I'm honest. Tell you what though, I nevert saw any of them mince around with their hands like that...classic:)

Footwork looks weak to me, students seem to be rather 'wooden' too. That said, youtube often makes these sort of things look a bit rubbish. Folk should check out Tommy Carruthers. He's the real deal fo sho.

  • Its fine to have specific techniques that work best for you. Im not knockin ya, its good to have a strong point. Bruce actually said. "Find what your best @ & most comfortable with, & develop that" It will help create a solid foundation.

  • Nessasary to have so many techniques?

1st of all its called Adaptability. Adapting yourself to your opponent Bruce said All fixed set patterns are incapable of adaptability or pliability. The truth is outside of all fixed patterns. BL

He also said not to place limitations on oneself. Isnt focusing on just 16 techniques limiting yourself or the possibilities you possess?

Good luck in your quest to find truth.

  • FRAUD!! this man is an insult to bruce lee's JKD!!!! hes taken the free flowing of JKD and the non classicalness of JKD and made it stiff and classical!! you cant read Lee's books and become a master and believe you have the ability to teach it! i say again... FRAUD!!

  • Amen to that lets find him beat him with his own testicles!!!!!!

  • This is not JKD. Do not be duped by this pitiful liar.

  • another Beasley wannabe. damn, this guy is full of shit. certified/licensed JKD sifu my ass!!

  • The art of setting, sounds like a fixed positions all sound very classical to me.

Stance looked poor, open invitation to be kicked in the groin. Its 50/50 too.

  • correction you jeet kune do is not jeet kune do

  • thats y i practice using my left foot forward because im used to having my power hand back now if i go southpaw im deadly because my right foot is faster than the left

  • Interesting clip...I was aware that Bruce's stance differed from the Seattle to the Oakland phase and then again from the Oakland phase to the Chinatown phrase, but I was not aware that any instructor was teaching all three as stances to learn and use. There are mobility issues with the Seattle phase stance and, as I understand it, that's the very reason Bruce modified it.

  • looks like this "sifu" has never been in a real fight. his idea of JKD does'nt make any sense. why are there so many people trying to change this FIGHTING ART into forms and techniques. its like trying to plan a car crash.

  • Absorb what is useful & discard the rest. !

My Sifu acquired his knowledge through yrs of dedication to the art & has a passion for sharing what he learned with others. Sorry you dont like the video.

  • and just who is you sifu

  • apparently nobody i figured that

  • If you would read the info you could go to the website and read hid Bio, are you questioning his footwork ?

  • I like how u have this passive agressive tone to ur voice, like every one is dumbe for not having this knowledge..and then "I didnt say that, Bruce Lee did"

  • its all about respect, and he's giving back to his sigung & sijo, Bruce Lee. ur good at what u do, don't forget about respect.
