  • I love how he puts his hands up when he's about to start signing.

  • noooo maaaaaa mssssssss

  • For some reason bits of this (some of his singing / noises & his slightly jangly guitar) remind of Jane's Addiction...

  • i would be DANCINGG!!!!!

  • justin bieber=singer

    radiohead=artist

  • @ryo21st

    Thom Yorke = singer

Justin Bieber = just a pretty voice

  • I can't comprehend how a band could be more gripping than Radiohead. It's almost like their music exists within it's own world, and we are given temporary entry.

  • What an out of body experience :0

  • Its the bbc......

glad they are back on form, but they had to bring the twilight brigade with them, also Thome didnt you have a receeding hairline in 1997 now dreg like curtains, still best band of my generation, if you havent see them live, I am now embarrassed by my own spelling and comment

  • Thom is the fuckin man!

  • at 4:00 is it Thom that screams or somebody else?

  • Comment removed

  • Thom does that to indicate the band to stop at the current bar. You can actually see him do it in several ways throughout several Radiohead live music videos

  • @XsoysuicidaX definitely is Thom

  • 1:40 it simply amazing.. and 2:19 are my favorites parts!

  • *thom gets his guitar* shits about to get real..

  • I hate the "shut up and enjoy the music" comments. No, you shut up!

  • I hate the "shut up and enjoy the music" comments. No, you shut up!

  • A Invincible man is raping thom?

  • It's so beautiful how the scream just swarms over the crowd.

  • I wish someone would run over and hand me a Rickenbacker when I was on stage. Thom is a lucky guy.

  • Jonny Greenwood were probably influenced by Imaginary Landscape by John Cage for the intro with a radio channel. It is a very nice idea. Thank you for the video.

  • this band.........this band...

  • This is music!

  • "So far, this is disco."

    T. Y.

  • i really love how jonny is running around the stage doing random stuff with the theremin

  • @fenwayfaith37 That's not a theremin, it's an Ondes Martenot.

Quite similar .. but very different as well.

  • Oh man, that chunky guitar riff Thom plays at 2:18. Gorgeous.

  • Jonny's radio drives me nuts, what a unique and creative way to music!

  • WHAT IS Thom wearing????/ WHAT is this!!!?

  • yes, ours :)

  • Please rise for our national anthem.

  • this is my national anthem.

  • @227131006164893 mine too

  • my computer froze because i clicked the like button so much

  • AWESOME.......... RADIOHEAD FOR LIFE

  • AWESOME.......... RADIOHEAD FOR LIFE

  • AWESOME.......... RADIOHEAD FOR LIFE

  • I think the lines quoted at the start are from "Brain of Britain". Could be wrong though.

  • The voice is Robert Robinson, old school BBC chap.

  • lol at 4:02

  • "This is the BBC 2." God I love Thom.

  • good perfomance

  • You might be right

  • I think this is one of the best Radiohead's songs

  • nods;)

  • this song is scary lol works great on kid a though llol

  • I've always wondered...when this song is played live you always hear a radio excerpt over the PA. Is that Johnny using his radio to tune into what's on air right as they're playing the song? If so, that's pretty cool.

  • Ed and Jonny take control, hells yea

  • its so weird but so awesome

  • Is it me or does that voice sound a lot like Michael Caine? That on the beginning and in the background.

  • that's because all english people sound like michael caine. or if they don't they damn well should.

  • Regarding that, I don't sound like Michael Caine, but you're right on the fact that I damn well should ^.^

  • Anyone got a tab of the guitar line thoms playing? Sounds pretty mad.

  • i think hes just put his guitar in drop D and mutes out the notes every now and again

  • He's probably in drop-D. Sounds like he's just hitting

  • I lOve RADIOhEAD

  • this is the funniest song in the world to cover.. this is so much fucking room to play with it.. it is the perfect jam song.. and all you guitar players.. buy an ebow.. you can reproduce johnny's odnes sound almost perfectly!

  • dude!!!!!!please!jonny is not playing the ebow in this song man!he actually never plays the ebow!thats ed.....you never have seen them live have you?do you know what the name of the instrument that jonny is playing in this song?i do but i must ask you....do you know?

  • lol. yeah my bad.. hes playing an odes and a radio lol.. in the live at feast im pretty sure he is playing the ebow (or fucking with feedback).. but yeah.. that was kinda dumb of me

  • ondes*

  • Bit harsh

  • shutup. he said in the original post " you can recreate jonnys ODNES sound perfectly" He was right, and you are wrong. Also, stop typing like some dorky 15 year old American, unless that is what you happen to be. in that case.... ummmm.... carry on.

  • fuck off!im 32 yrs old and am correct about what i said.

  • yeah, proving yer years of maturity there, he what the guy said is true, you can re-create the sound, he is not saying that johnny is playing that. its like how he uses a digitech whammy in paranoid android, great well if you play that part on the thrid, second and first fret of your G and B strings you can get the same sound, leave the guy alone

  • i may have been a bit harsh on the guy but he knew what i was saying.i assume he is a bit of a music snob just as i and we were able 2 see eye 2 eye on it...but others feel they need 2 jump in.its ok...and i dont disagree with you.

  • gosh this is fucking stupid when people fight on youtube.

  • yeah, why prove a point to someone your never going to see.

  • Shut up and enjoy the music.

  • That Rhythmic breathing at the start is wiiikid!

  • "it's great" says my sister :P

she does it all the time like "pah pah pah pah":D

  • lol i think the radio thing at the beginning makes a reference to australia ending america's 132 year winning streak in the America's Cup. radiohead! :D

  • BAM BAM BUUUH BAMM BUH BUH

  • yeah good comment... btw i def clicked the little thumbs down

  • If you watched at around 2:50, you would've understood

  • -------best band in the world---------

  • I was so disappointed when I found out the Stuido version didn't have the TV/Radio bits in the beginning :( Same with the gasp-scatting Thom does.

It is still such and amazing song though!

  • One particularity of this song is the fact that ALWAYS is played differently. All the versions are unique. This one, the studio version and the "Saturday Night Live" performance are my favorites.

    Thank you for comment.

  • @Zedetnik Well yeah they said the radio parts they use are just local radio stations they pick up at the concert, so when they play in places like spain they have spanish radio on it.

  • if you like the radio thing.. they do it in climbing up the walls off ok compluter.. its pretty kick ass in that song too,

  • @lafla2 But this music is based on the chaos theory, you can hear that on the studio version. Every brass instrument recorded a free-jazz solo without hearing each other, after joining them together they got what mathematicians call 'Complex Dynamical Systems', society works just like that. Welcome to the Post-structuralist concept of a nation! (I just got one word for this song: MASTERPIECE)

  • @lafla2 also i think that's what make their live performances that much better, the inclusion of these

small bits. True, great song both ways though

  • ondes martenot powaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The crowd is so boring... there should be a riot, people literally throwing themselves around, ripping their clothes off, I don't know, something to equal the immense power created by this fucking amazing bass line

  • haha. totally get that.

  • Loving the howling Ondes from Jonny.

  • #$%^ GYUINI NKIO ^%$##%%**( .

Iam sorry..This song made me lose my mind for a second... It's really that awesome!

  • Thom fucking rocks it on that guitar.

One of my all time favorites.

  • this perfomance is INSANE

    just look at Johnny

  • AWESOME, they're so AWESOME!!!!!

  • Jonny Greenwood is a beast.

  • I love how passionate Thom is on this...

  • bloody awsome!!

  • aweseome

  • KID A, truly a landmark album

  • 'Its da BBC...'

  • I love this live version... for me it's the best!
