I backup mine every week-I learned that after my laptop had its hard drive crash-it's lost 3 hard drives in less than 3 years, so I always regularly back it up. Also, try defraging your hard drive. If that won't work, try System Restore, if that doesn't work, I don't know what will.

SimCity 4 is still one of my favorite games. I was so excited when SimCity Societies came out that I bought 2 copies the day it came out. One for myself and one form my brothers birthday. Little did I know what I was buying.

KILL SimCity Societies I cant stand it!

I would love to see the graphics of Societies or Cities XL superimposed on SimCity 4 simulator. Cut the social engineering crap I don't want to micro-manage fake people's lives.

I do have a few files that I actually downloaded which had their own setup and everything... I just seem to be downloading files into the plugins folder and the majority aren't showig up. and yes, I believe I do have all the dependencies for them all or at least most of them.

@dylanorse1550 hmm I'm not sure. If downloads come with a zipped installer you need to run them first. Extract everything else into your plugins folder... if they're still zipped they won't work.

What mod lets you make those 45 degree wide corners at the very beginning of your video? I have NAM, NWM, and RHW but I don't see that building option. Also, my two lane RHW highways have a yellow stripe on one side, but yours don't... Not sure why that is.

@zangalus2005 That's the RHW. The curves are located under the RHW Curves button on the Highways menu. As far as the lack of yellow stripes, that's Shadow Assassin's old Euro RHW texture set for RHW Version 2.0 there. A new Euro set is planned to be released at the same time as RHW Version 4.2.

The Mod also fixes a ton of Bugs EA left in the game, Even the newest version of the game out of the box , being Sim City 4 deluxe is incredibly unstable and prone to crashing. I Probably would have given up on this game otherwise.
