  • @aglandcattleman That's what I thought. He was just saying "hello from Germany".

  • Very neat, the airport only a mile away from my house operates 6 Twin Otters, a skyvan and a turbo porter for their skydiving business. (DeLand Skydive)

  • I Love This Aircraft!!

  • do anyone know what the stall speed is on this aircraft?

  • 48 Knots at Full Flaps... Amazing isnt it for something that size...

  • Now, I have vitnes in Bodoe airport (known for a lot wind)Twin Otters landing taking of like a VTOL do to string wind ;) :p And even if the wind is strong enough, they can back up in the air. Saw a militery verson do that on a air show.

IMO Twin Otter is quite an amazing aircraft. You can land everywhere, almost.

  • why only ski on front wheel?

  • To keep it from digging in.

  • @MetaView7 It's a penetrating ski.

  • "it can take off on a dime and land on a postage stamp"

flight instructor used to tell me, looks like hes over estimated!

  • Man that is short : )

  • beautiful landing!

  • That pilot knew exactly what he was doing. Great skill! You can see how he managed the energy perfectly so he didn't balloon when he flared. Nice job!

  • ive seen those planes land in 100 metres its quite something

  • Yes , this is a Aircraft!

    All the best from Germany

  • That's why I love the DeHavilland Twin Otter...for such an able plane, it's very forgiving and not temperamental. And that's why I got it on FS2004!

  • text book "Short Field Landing"...haven't seen those in awhile!...cool video

  • Can't have been more than 500'. Very nice.

  • Tara dactyl Airlines

    Here comes Fred & Barney!

  • the pilot is very FODA in my linguage

  • wow

  • one of my favorite landings

    sooooo smoooth

  • Nice Flare

  • What happened after this video was taken: Pilots took off again cause they wanted a longer landing time :p

  • YPL PICKLE LAKE ONT

  • That's short!!!!

  • Nice landing.

  • YPR - Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

  • I like the ski on the front wheel! It would be real painful to get your nose wheel stuck in that snow.

  • Still the coolest and versatile piece of machine to me...
