I think I like your guys' typical commercial RL bins (like at 2:00) better than ours. They're less bulky (square shaped, while ours are MOSTLY square shaped with the slanted front), and they're made of plastic while ours are made of metal (resulting in rust, more noise, etc.). Just seems more efficient, even though ours are more fun to watch :D I also like the large, single lid your RL dumpsters have, almost is like a giant ASL bin!
Yer ours have their advantages, though sometimes when they get heavy they're hard to get on the lifter which is a pain and they can get damaged easily if treated roughly, that's where metal's good, but then there's disad. for that as you mentioned. Well this container's basically a 300g, just a little larger... can't believe ASLs can lift bins that size of there!
Well, at least it looks like an ASL bin with the same design of normal ASL bins down there only larger. But that is pretty amazing with the 300 gal. ASL bins. Too bad they aren't more popular...
How are they 'some of the best' for recycling?? What I know is that they're good with paper and cardboard, fine with plastics and cans, but it's a different story when they turn glass into sand :D
Yer, though I've suspended for 6 weeks, for giving away $1.50 worth of free food. The boss is a f**ken c*nt and I dunno how I was caught either. Oh well, not bad being off for a while though! Really not sure if I want to continue there, I was condsidering working there for the next few years, but I've really discovered how much for a shithole it really is to work there :D
Well a driver's looking into that for my for my council as a runner on the RLs. Be awesome to do that on the holidays, probably drop McDonalds and would earn more just working on the holidays! I don't have any high expectations because I'm still a bit young, but I was told there's a 16 year old doing it, surely they're be able to let it slide with my 7 years of experience :D
Mitchell thanks thats was good man.5 Stars and saved to favorites. Now a question why did he open the lid on the 2 containers on the end but leave the middle one shut.Thats buggin me its not a biggie but why????
I think it may be because the lids on the bins which hang on the sides, may get caught under the "stopper", therefore not opening - if that's not the case... dunno.
Ahhh! Excellent video bro! Luv this truck.. the sound, colour... also see they have the signage on the truck! 3 Bin spaces on the lift! Sumfin new =]... You gotta get more of him! Thanks Mitch! *****
Sure is! Well youn can usually dump 3 on any comb lifter, tends to work better when there's 10 teeth on the lifter (like shown) -usually only situation you'd find a triple dump in. You can get HEILs doing this as well and sometimes with Garwood lifters, haven't seen an MJ do it before but sure it can. Also sometimes it's a situation where there's something in the way on the side of the hopper which stops the bin from being tipped.

They work well with glass when the ejector blade is fully retracted.
Aussierefuse 3 years ago
haha Well by what I've seen, glass usually gets detroy no matter where the blade is - what makes you think that?
MitchellM15 3 years ago
This case study report I have, about glass compaction.

Mind you, it is about 3 years old :P

For actual models, try First Gear, as for toys Bruder & Tonka are good. Just go on Ebay and there'll be a stack of replicas and toys.
