If you want to get the oliphaunts in custom battle go to (for example) C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome Total War\data and search for export_descr_unit. You can open it with notebook, search at the end for "oliphaunt" and when you find it, where there is the name "slave" write the name of the faction you want (romans_scipii, romans_brutti, romans_julii, romans_senate, carthage, greek_cities, macedon, thrace, parthia, armenia, seleucid, egypt, numidia, gaul, briton, german)

"Useful tip every modder does this... go to ur Desktop then RIGHT CLICK on the shortcut then scroll down youll see

Shit i forgot when ur in export descr buildings txt scroll down go to greek hoplite spartan youll see requires reasource Sparta delete that then scroll down do this to all greek hoplite spartan lines and ur done i advise u to get greek elephants and chariots anyway ur done u have Spartans. BE WARNED THIS IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF U NEWBIES when lets
