This video was a total waste of shareholder money. I could of shot a high quality OS 7 tutorial and preview on a digital canon video SLR for 110% cheaper then you guys paid for this video to be produced. The extra 10% savings is from the less frustrated consumer experience.
If RIM wants to remain in business... they need to innovate with some killer security features. Those who use Blackberries do not use them for "all the available apps". We are concerned about security. RIM -- if you're listening you need to build an OPEN SOURCE PGP-like public key crypto system for e-mail into your Operating System that also supports SMS encryption as an option.
I'm not a big fan of Blackberry devices, but I'm not against them. There is deffinately a market for their product. If absolutely had to have one, if someone told me I couldn't have anything else, it would, the Blackberry Bold. That, is a sweet phone.
@maxeljulio That's exactly what RIM needs. Stuff for people. THey didn't mention liquid graphics, dual core processors or integrated GPUs, they appealed to the good old, cool/GTD factor.
Keep at it RIM (and oh, while you're at it, deploy the devices in Latam... Your execution is still far from good).
@maxeljulio If there is an area they need change and to work on, it is marketing. I agree, they need change, and this video IS a sign of change in the right direction.
Users can't be bothered with the idea of "liquid graphics"... Average Joe just want the phone to work and Jane Doe is all about texting and apps. Specs are for nerds and tech-wizards, the average customer isn't into that.
@diegonei Well i for one use my phone for a lot more than texting and talking now a days. It revolves around my job as well and is my source of entertainment when I'm off. I went from blackberry to iPhone 4S and I don't regret it. Blackberry has potential but it hasn't caught up yet.
I guess you have to be optimistic to get the video.

I have the bold 9930, switched from a bold 9650, I love it. It's fast and blackberry is giving away free apps on all their phones.

@diegonei If there isn't a drastic change they're going to lose more and more of the market share.
