This game is a perfect illustration when people point out Favre, his upside and DOWNSIDE, and the talent of the rest of the team. Did the Packers of '95 besides Favre look terrible to anyone? Brooks' speed and separation, Freeman's returning ability, the overall defense, special teams block. And this was a tight game. Packers were up, Dallas goes up after a long drive, the Pack start moving the ball in response, at mid field, and what happens? A forced throw, INT, and tide turned for good.

@toolkien And to clarify I wasn't saying Favre was terrible, just that about '97 the narrative was rewritten that all success was due to Favre and that the rest of the Packers were on the level of the '86 Packers and Favre single handedly turned things around. The Packers got progressively better from '92 on, and it was Favre who held things up, but by the second half of '95 Favre elevated to elite. Except he still could throw a pass like he did in the 4th quarter to tip a game against the Pack.

Not a great throw by brett but Ingram didn't come back to the ball either...I'd like to see Rodgers take a team with Anthony Morgan as the #2 wideout & Ingram #3 to the NFC title game...or win league MVP for that matter.

Ominous signs were going against us--mainly a gigantic Dallas Cowboy time of possession advantage. Our D was worn out. The Jurkovic injury hurt us big time--dirty play by E. Williams.
