I do KM too,but Roy is an alien!!! Years of training won't let me do half of what he's capable of...chapeau! The fact is that in real life situation,i suppose,99% of people would give money and wallet to a "gunned thief".

@gabriellando why do you think that special forces, police forces etc. all over the world are using this? If someone points a gun on your head from a distance, you can't do much. However, in for example hostage situations, we're dealing with sort distance ranch, in which we can disarm and eliminate the attacker

@uck1007 Theory is incredible, but no... I don't believe it. If you calculate the time of response needed for a man to pull a trigger, you get to the conclusion that you'd need to take your head out of the gun's aim in less than 0.2 seconds. You're not a squirrel, that's impossible.

@gabriellando Hahaha, gotta admit that im not a squirrel :P But now you assume that the attacker wants to shoot you. Often its just to make sure you do as he says. If he wants to shoot you, your dead, but imagine you being robbed. A guy points a gun against your head and tells you to give your money. I'd reccomand everyone to just give your money, but if you're like Roy, you could disarm him. The focus is not on killing you, which would make the response time longer right?

@uck1007 Maybe you're not familiar with robbers. I'm quite familiar, I live in Brazil. Some of my friends were robbed more than 5 times in their lifetimes. I've seen the face of those robbers. Dealing with a thief is much harder than with a psicopath or something, because the psicopath feels no fear, but the thief is scared as hell. He fears everything: being caught, hurt, seen. He will shoot you quickly, without thinking, to the least of your movements, because it'll scare the shit out of him.

@gabriellando i think i see where we differ. I live in the Netherlands, which is quite different from Brazil. The people here who'd rob with a gun(which are very very few)think they're God cause no one has a gun here. Those are the guys that you call psychopaths... I think the conclusion should be that you should stay (fairly) calm, and analyse the situation. If youre dealing with a scared guy who stares at you all the time pointing a gun, give him your stuff. If he looks around etc., get him ;)

@uck1007 I'd say that's still quite dangerous and that the chances are all against you, but if you're really skilful, you could reduce the odds of somethiing going wrong. I guess a good strategy against a robber is to show you're confident and careless about his intentions as he passes by, and just look him in the eyes and keep walking. Confident people are rarely a target for thieves, at least where I live.
