Jackie you are the best. I'm 59 and I didn't listen to Elvis until 9th grade when a friend of mine told me about him. And I was the kid who loved music and wrote down all the 100 hits every year while playing baseball in the backfield. Elvis is the King and always will be. Thanks for all you do on you tube. I did convince my son that Elvis was "it". He thought I was an idiot when I first mentioned it but now he's more of an Elvis fan than me. Thanks again Jackie.
this was my parents song i remember them butching it singing and dances to it mom will be gone 28 years on the 7th daddy was 14 in may i love to think that elvis singing it to them now it makes me cry but happy tears their together again and their 62 anniversity is oct 16 ginnylynn
Where did you get that pic of Elvis in that green shirt, I would like to buy one of them pic for my album. Very young Elvis , love the video. 5 stars tx
I adore this song, i keep trying to explain to my friends , why i love Elvis Presley, his voice and his whole presence, i hope one day they will understand, as i listen to this beautiful song/vocal, i want to shout "this is why i love him" maybe one day they will undersand
My mom just handed me more than 50 elvis albums and I'm blown away. I always liked him but it was moms music. Now that it belongs to me, WOW I can't get enough
Hi, I can understand you being blown away, i was blown away when i was 8 years old, (im now 49), Elvis was the most amazing singer of all time, so glad you cant get enough, and you will never tire of the songs either, there are over 700 to listen to. By the way thought the photo of the lady and gentleman positioned on the guitar (on your profile, is it your mum and dad?), was beautiful, Good version of Hold me in your Heart, have you heard Elvis's version yet? best wishes jacqui
It is available on Elvis: Worldwide Gold Award Hits, Vol. 1, For LP Fans Only, A Valentine Gift for You, Elvis, and The King of Rock n Roll-The Complete 50s Masters, which is where this version is from
Written by Stanley A. Kesler for Elvis. Elvis recorded it at Radio Recorders on September 1, 1956. Take #7 was used by RCA. The single release had a 9-week stay on Billboards Top 100 chart, peaking at #34. It reached #8 on the Country Juke Box chart. It was a million seller. It was the B-side to Too Much.
This is such a very spectacular, fun and underrated song. Elvis is the only individual who I've ever heard sing this gem. There's no possible way that anyone could sing this treasure as well or better than Elvis did. This is one of hundreds of hidden gems by Elvis. Elvis will always be the greatest singer, entertainer and icon. Elvis will also always have the greatest voice. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.

Your friends are probably morons if by know they still can't 'GET' Elvis.
Sometimes being lonely is not the worst-case scenario one can find himself/herself in...

@jacqui4elvis And if they never understand...well...it is their loss not to be able to appreciate such a talent.
