Kristy grew up speaking Thai, so naturally she is good, and living in Korat, then Krungtheb gives her chance to learn different accents, and she does for regional songs and accents. Her voice has different timber than Thai singers and that makes her singing interesting, as well as surprising to see such good Thai from farang blond.

They're both really nice in person--they're friendly and kind and all the luktung fans I know (I'm one myself:))and have met like them a lot. They also never profess to be anything great and are constantly extolling the Thai artists far above themselves. To me that says a lot. And, personal opinion--I think they sing really well and have done a great job with the language and culture, especially considering they're foreigners. Thumbs up from me.

They are a novelty act, Jonas cannot sing at all well although his version of Khon jai Damn on his first CD is good. Kristy has improved a lot over the years though. What puts people off them is their cult religion of the family, formerly know as the children of god. Also, their boasts about charity work do not go down well, luktung fans prefer those who do charity work without trying to use it for good publicity. All profits go to the cult according to a kristy interview.

Um, no, she didn't have surgery. I know her well. You don't often see her wearing her hair down like in this video, so that makes her look maybe a little different from what you've usually seen. But that's the same Kristy alright...no surgery. Maybe she'll be flattered someone thinks she looks better. Aw, she wouldn't mind either way. She's so sweet.
