  • I like bob arum is shaking his head no the whole time

  • Nigel, Barry & Mr Warren ALL got it spot on in parts...

  • Hatton beats Cotto at 140 Cotto was weight drained and hurt by lesser fighters like Torres.

@ 147 Cotto would have stopped him in the mid rounds.

  • @FUMIN988 I agree man. At 140 Hatton was a BEAST!

  • IF THEY FOUGHT (:

  • i think cotto would knockhim out!

  • hatton woulda put so much heat on him he breaks cotto down, dont forget this is at 140 at the time he beat kosta

  • Best British boxer was Micheal Watson...Class, Skill, and Power, and much respect to Hatton and Cotto but Miguel would put the beats on him.

  • hahaha no disrespect for Hatton, but Cotto would have beat him any day, anytime, anywhere, the fight could be in Hatton's backyard of Manchester, England and still Cotto would beat him.

  • @TheAwokenMind Naseem was very, very good, but best British boxer ever? I have to disagree. My vote would go to Jimmy Wilde or Ted Lewis.

  • @TheAwokenMind I agree with all of that, Ricky should have lost a good few times based upon "whats happened" and past achievements, but he didn't.

Im a big fan of cotto and see him winning most of the time but hell yeah ricky is underrated, his strenghts aren't instantly visible, wish he had trained more, he defo had the brain and heart.

Don't think nas was the best, best i've seen was lennox. Eubank and Benn i grew up watching, McGuigan is an outright beast, "a better hatton"

  • @TheAwokenMind Buchannan - yes ......... quite sure he is the only british boxer to get inducted into the boxing hall of fame -_-

  • @bcozigothigh how do you know hatton never ducked anyone!! i know for a fact that hatton personally nevered seeked a unfication with miguel cotto! he turned down a fight with mayweather at 140 after he had beat kosta! he also turned down a fight with de la hoya before pacman got that fight!! so i have just said a few fights he ducked! he never knew who judah mosley or miguel cotto was hatton was very well matched! this is a guy who struggled against luis collazo says it all really!!

  • hatton who?

  • Hatton the most overrated british fighter ever.

  • Hatton v Kosta Tsyzu i think Hatton can pull off the upset i also think this that will be his defining fight, plus Cotto v Hatton i dont think it will ever happen

  • Anyone who think Ricky Hatton would have KO'd Miguel Cotto in 2004/05 is krazy, Lmao. Cotto was a killer in his mid 20's. Plus Miguel's a natural lefty, so 1 of Cotto's power jabs alone would have ended Hatton in the late rounds.

  • @bcozigothigh Dude, who are these people that rate him as #3 ?? Bias Boxing Magazines ?? Look i do love boxing and i have my own opinion as a Fan, just like you do. Rick had such a ugly style of fighting, like where was his Technic, he had a awful offensive style, If 24 year old Miguel Cotto would have landed one power jab or his left hook at that time, Rick wouldda been done LOL..Ricky hatton beat a old and rugged Luis Castillo, Miguel in his early 20's would have killed Hatton.

  • @rdcvgr88 at that time hatton would have banged him up they had a similar style and hatton loved a tear up his heart wud have got him through!

  • hatton would have destroyed cotto im telling you now

  • @pidgeonp1 Man Miguel Cotto would have beatin' the livin' crap out of Ricky Hatton, who is Ricky Hatton?? really?? he's garbage, he should have played football for Manchester City like his dad man.

  • would of been an awsome fight...i am a hatton fight..but have to say cotto would of knocked him out in the 9th round

  • He should've gone for it. Screw this 'He's not ready for this yet' bullshit.

  • they made the right decision. cotto would have taxed his ass and would probably have gone on to fight kostya and beaten his old ass. still wish ricky would have fought cotto though. the fact that ricky gave maussa (a guy cotto had beaten) a shot at the title before cotto was lame as hell of him.

  • @MrXxiii Hatton-Maussa was a unification match. It made more sense boxing Maussa for the WBA than Cotto for the WBO.

Whilst were on the subject common opponents What about Paul Malignaggi? Cotto W12, but Hatton KO11 (winning 9 of the 10 completed rounds)

  • @fep70 unification meant shit. hatton was linear champ. and extra trinket wouldn't have meant anything. and yeah hatton beat malignaggi, after cotto literally broke half his face.

  • @MrXxiii Yep. Not to mention Cotto had already beat Maussa before Hatton fought him. Neither one of them wanted it with Floyd at the time tho. I remember both them sitting ringside at the Gatti-Mayweather fight and both of them were like "fuck that shit, I want no part of that".

  • how mad will it be it it was COTTO-TSZYU

  • if he could beat kostya and make him quit in the 11th round, and be competitive with mayweather for a good 6 rounds, cotto he could beat without fear lol i agree with many ricky at 140 cotto would be weak, cotto wins at 147, rickys also to week.

  • Ricky or Cotto or Chavez Jr. vs Canelo

  • thay would have been a good fight . two really big body punchers.. too bad fight never happing..

  • lol did you hear frank warren lol i prefer if hatton fought the winner of the mitchel fight didnt want anything to do with cotto, cotto is the greatest lol omg this would of been an amazing fight if he went after cotto in 2007 just after the zab judah fight

  • in the MEN around the time of 2004-2005 hatton would have bullied cotto at 140 cotto was never at his best at 140 look at the trouble he had vs Torres and even lost rounds vs Malignaggi . at 147 cotto would have knocked hatton out cold

  • cotto would whoop his ass

  • Shame it never took place, Hatton v Cotto at 140, Ricky wins. @147 Cotto wins

  • Cotto would've beat him at 140 or 147. Just an overall stronger, better fighter

  • @RobertoFlackTV I agree, it'd be competitive for a few rounds but Cotto would eventually start to pull away and in all likelihood stop Hatton.

  • people have to remember, ricky hatton was much much stronger than cotto at light-welterweight. cotto obviously is the bigger man, but at 140 pounds, ricky was stronger. at light-welterweight hatton could have won it. welterweight was cotto's natural weight

  • It would've been an awesome fight!! BUT, I see Cotto dominating by counters and power.
