If any of you actually think any meaningful health care reform is going to take place you're dreaming. The chair of the senate finance committee is Max Baucus who is solidly in the pockets of the insurance and pharmaceutical companies. Most likely they will require citizens to buy 'insurance' from the very companies who routinely deny care. Single payer advocates have been left out of the discussion even though polls show a majority of Americans favor such a plan.

First, I'm so sorry for Cynthia's cancer. Second, can someone please tell me how Cynthia lost her health insurance? The explanation that she used her health insurance once in the previous year, prior to her diagnosis for cancer, simply doesn't hold water. I've never heard of anyone losing their health insurance because they used it "once in the prior year." Some please advise.
