As I said, I respect Vertigo as a cinematic classic - I just personally don't like it very much. That and North By Northwest are my least favorite Hitchcock films, although the score to North By Northwest is fabulous.
I have the Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece collection. Good set! it's missing North By Northwest though. But that wasn't a Universal film. It is in the Signature collection though, which is all Warner Bros. Hitchcock films.
I'd like a dvd from someone i dont really know. i mean i really expect more from a close friend or family, u know. for example, me, id like either walle, twilight or the dark night.
I think a DVD is a good gift as long as you get it with somethings else rather than just a plain old DVD. Dont get me wrong i love them its just that getting one for one person is kind of weird. I liked Rear Window but my favourite Alfie is Dial "M" For Murder. Lots of dialogue but it kept you interested.
wow. awesome wall-e at the end there. i have a pretty short attention span, but i somehow am able to watch movies over and over. i think i watched school of rock about 13 times in the first week that i got it. something about that movie...
Fantastic! You're grandma is hilarious! :) And Rear Window = GREAT MOVIE! I had never seen it until I had to watch it, study it, and remake a scene of it for a class I took! After that, I cam to appreciate it a lot more!
Anyways, take care and Happy Holidays! :) I look forward to the next few BTTs because it looks like some awesome movies are coming out!
DVD's are actually my favorite gift TO get! And while I prefer them to be seasons of tv shows, movies are fantastic too. Can't go wrong with a DVD for Christmas!
I love the little "subscribe, comment, rate" voice at the end :D
and I think DVD's make great gifts, as long as you know know the person likes it, but doesn't own it. I wouldn't send one to every single person you know, but if you give the right one to the right person it's an awesome present.
this movie - can be seen online for free l @ MOOV ZON . COM just google for the link above

It would of been so funny if Grace Punched her Grandma out right after she said you convinced me Grace!
Then Grace could have said Happy Holidays to everyone :)

I'm really happy everyone's enjoying "Grandma" - she's from my sketch/improv comedy days and one of my favorite characters.

I love DVDs! But I'd rather pick them up myself... Last DVD someone got me was Chronicles of Riddick. *blegh!*
Mom, just because I liked Star Wars doesn't mean I like every sci-fi movie!
