It annoys me how everyone underlines the fact how "normal" those kids are. They are just average kids, like, what did they expect? Even when saying nice things about his kids, they're still mocking Michael. He wasn't weird, it's not like Katherine has saved those kids and magically turned them normal. Michael raised them and he did a wonderful job.
I do like to see the kids talk about their dad and what they want to do in the future, and I don't think Katherine would ever do anything that could be harmful to them, but if her partner is only using those kids as a marketing ploy, then something should be done. But, the kids are growing up so they probably want to do interviews and stuff themselves too, and I see nothing wrong with that.
as much as I like to see them doing great, I agree with the Estate. Katherine 's partner is encouraging this for marketing purposes to sell the book he cowrote with her. So I try to say what I mean. My grandfather died 1997 and I love him so much, he was my daddy, I lived by my grandparents since I was two years old and now one of my sons look a little bit like him. I see no problem with an interview every once in awhile, as long as the media gives them their due privacy and respect. Their Dad was a well known public figure, so to expect for them to remain shut away forever is very unrealistic. Some fans try to decide what's best for the kids, but its not our place really. What I don't like is ppl acting as if they're only normal now that they're with Katherine. They just need to accept that Mike was a good dad who raised 3 well balanced kids.
And as for the issue with Howard Mann, if he's doing something illegal I trust the family and the relevant authorities to deal with him. However, the bottom line is that by going to that shelter, regardless of who they did it in affiliation with, Paris Prince and Blanket made those families very happy and they did a good thing. Great to see them growing into their own people, but I hate the way they're portrayed as only being 'normal' because of their upbringing SINCE Michael's death. Michael is the main reason that they ARE normal. In fact, without the masks and veils, they would have been considerably more affected by the fame of their father; they wouldn't have been able to leave the house without him. It's BECAUSE of Michael that they're such great kids. It's sad but really uplifting to see what a great dad he was.

Even the comment "without their veils" when MJ had stop them from wearing the veils even before he died which is why there are a lot of photos of them with MJ without their veils. Prince explained on Oprah why they wore them so that when they went out without MJ, no one would recognize them. MJ was so big as an entertain when he went out in public, he drew a lot of media attention. When the kids were not with MJ, no one really recognized them.

Numerous people have said over and over again . . . the kids were normal kids. They went out to the movies, to the parks, etc. without masks, without being recognized (precisely BECAUSE MJ masked them when they were seen with himself), and they had lots of friends (the Malnik kids, Mark Lester's kids, Lionel Ritchie's daughter Sophie, etc., etc.). The interviewer is so annoying. She speaks of MJ's kids like they're were some poor ~locked away~ children who are just now getting to know the ~real world~. Gimmie a break. It annoys me how everyone underlines the fact how "normal" those kids are. They are just average kids, like, what did they expect? Even when saying nice things about his kids, they're still mocking Michael. He wasn't weird, it's not like Katherine has saved those kids and magically turned them normal. Michael raised them and he did a wonderful job.

I do like to see the kids talk about their dad and what they want to do in the future, and I don't think Katherine would ever do anything that could be harmful to them, but if her partner is only using those kids as a marketing ploy, then something should be done. But, the kids are growing up so they probably want to do interviews and stuff themselves too, and I see nothing wrong with that.

So I try to say what I mean. My grandfather died 1997 and I love him so much, he was my daddy, I lived by my grandparents since I was two years old and now one of my sons look a little bit like him. They had the same ears and eyes and this point makes me feel that my grandfather is not completley away.

I see no problem with an interview every once in awhile, as long as the media gives them their due privacy and respect. Their Dad was a well known public figure, so to expect for them to remain shut away forever is very unrealistic. Some fans try to decide what's best for the kids, but its not our place really. What I don't like is ppl acting as if they're only normal now that they're with Katherine. They just need to accept that Mike was a good dad who raised 3 well balanced kids.

And as for the issue with Howard Mann, if he's doing something illegal I trust the family and the relevant authorities to deal with him. However, the bottom line is that by going to that shelter, regardless of who they did it in affiliation with, Paris Prince and Blanket made those families very happy and they did a good thing. Their dad would be so proud of them. Don't you see how great they were with those homeless kids? That's what's important here, not whether or not the charity's legit.

Great to see them growing into their own people, but I hate the way they're portrayed as only being 'normal' because of their upbringing SINCE Michael's death. Michael is the main reason that they ARE normal. In fact, without the masks and veils, they would have been considerably more affected by the fame of their father; they wouldn't have been able to leave the house without him. It's BECAUSE of Michael that they're such great kids. It's sad but really uplifting to see what a great dad he was.

Even the comment "without their veils" when MJ had stop them from wearing the veils even before he died which is why there are a lot of photos of them with MJ without their veils. Prince explained on Oprah why they wore them so that when they went out without MJ, no one would recognize them. MJ was so big as an entertain when he went out in public, he drew a lot of media attention. When the kids were not with MJ, no one really recognized them.

Numerous people have said over and over again . . . the kids were normal kids. They went out to the movies, to the parks, etc. without masks, without being recognized (precisely BECAUSE MJ masked them when they were seen with himself), and they had lots of friends (the Malnik kids, Mark Lester's kids, Lionel Ritchie's daughter Sophie, etc., etc.). 1.I hate how they always make it sound like Katherine is the great savior, who took the kids of a "freak"& now turns them into normal. MICHAEL was their father&HE did a great job raising them!
2.This "heal the world" has NOTHING to do with MJs HTW foundation.This Mann is just USING the kids for his own good!
3. WHY are those kids on TV???Michael would've never wanted this!!Obviously he couldn't even trust his own mother,who's now showing them in the media for money.I lost great respect for her!

@hibbediejibbedie right...they were actually more "normal" with Michael but i guess it's more"normal" now because they're on national television doing an interview & technically they're not even famous for anything & cameras are following them around...& since when is being homeschooled not normal? umm Michael Jackson's kids were not the only kids in the world that were homeschooled! & they shouldn't start "showbiz" now, the media would tear them apart regardless of the talent i'm sure they have

@hibbediejibbedie If you weren't being so "judgemental" perhaps your 'loss of respect' for Katherine Jackson is somewhat "misplaced!" Michael trusted his mother's judgement in reference to his children & that's exactly why he stated he wanted HER to have them. There is absolutel;y Nothing 'wrong' with her having them on TV occasionally as MANY of Michael's Fans want to know how they're doing & Mrs. Jackson has sense enough to know that! The interview was great but the only thing I didn't like was when the reporter said "they are normal kids". Paris and Blanket looked at each other like WTH? Why wouldn't we be normal? She should have said something like "they are just your typical kids". Other than that thoughtless comment, the interview went well. Prince has such a deep voice. He'll sound like Barry White when he's a man. :)

I see MJ in all three kids. I hope they are shielded from the opinions of "expert" fans who seem to think they know Katherine's heart more than MJ did. He chose here to care for those kids. I assume he thought long and hard about who would care for his most precious jewels.

In my opinion the ESTATE ARE CROOKS. And that's MY opinion. I'm very suspect of them as one of them, John Branca, was close to MJ'S enemy Tommy Motolla WHOM HE CALLED THE DEVIL!! MJ thought BRANCA was conspiring against him to take his Billion dollar portion of that Beatles catalog. Was MJ DRUGGED in his last few days as those CROOKS EASED BACK IN to take over his MONEY??

Keep in mind too this is the person MJ trusted enough to hire him in the time b4 his passing to help protect him from Howard Mann and Tohme. Michael had many lawsuits with Mann and so did the estate.

Also, Branco had nothing to do with Michael going from doctor to doctor his entire life, for drugs to help him sleep.
But the most exciting news is that FINALLY, it is said that after the family members upset with Katherine have contacted Margaret Lodise, the court appointed lawyer for these children – HOPEFULLY THE KIDS WILL BE SAVED!
