I was on the team that built the largest bridge across the Helmand river. It allowed US Marines to get to the main base in Sangin safely, bypassing a dangerous road through the city. i just got back from there and its really rough i was there from 2010 to 2011 and as every mission progressed IEDs got worse and worse... and they are getting better at laying them and detonating them.... its sad and it sucks but this is the way it is there and all we can really do is pray for the men and women still there and hope they all come home safely

@ElijahGates1 I was in Sangin last year. and it's NO joke. It's seriously like the wild west. death is around the corner all day long. I was on the team that built the largest bridge across the Helmand river. It allowed US Marines to get to the main base in Sangin safely, bypassing a dangerous road through the city. I almost died a few times. ooorah Marine Corps! Now I'm safe. Back in California.
