Civilised Negotiation is non existant in this game so theres no point in engaging in diplomacy. I know this because after finally completing this game on deity you'd wish there was an option to turn diplomacy completely off.

i did a D-day invasion on the zulu with riflemen subs cruisers and battleships 10 riflemen and 70 modern military i did it because they nuked me it lasted for 8 years i also had bombers and fighters i could not get their capital with all there stuff that was there so i nuked them and then took over the city

Wow, the civilizations are alot more adventurous on king. I normally play on warlord and they rarely come out of their city boundaries, but on king the spanish actually landed on 'The Pitt''s Island and destroyed it, and then later on french soldiers landed on the coast. I think I might have a go at King :D

I am gonna try to answer your thing about the Republic on this game. You see if Settlers can be produced for only one population, there can be more of them. Which means one can make VAST AMOUNTS of increase to their city numbers and empire range. I hope that helps you figure out the deal with the Republic.

madman do you have dyslexia? you seem to read slow and have bad pronunciation. my dad is dyslexic and has the same problems.

I'm not sure. I have no problem reading r anything but pronunciation is just something I have trouble with. Some people have problems with say "Aluminum" and "Cinnamon". I guess I just have problems with saying certain words.
