  • things fucking huge

  • nice gerrard lake trout!

  • any idiot can catch a fish, but it takes a real sportsman to release a trophy good job bud!!!!!!

  • you should not hold him up like this. its too heavy

  • cant a obeese phish just get sum dang food without gap tooth catchin him?

  • sei proprio uno sfigato sparati

  • nice catch Michael Strahan!!

  • awesome vid dude nice to see people releasing such big fish :)

  • Great catch! I think I would faint if I ever caught something that big. I'm a bit of a kid when I fish. And it's pretty cool that you released it.

  • crackheads fishing

  • @snickers664 stupid troll go troll somewhere else bitch. everyone flag his comment!

  • Baddasss!

  • Thank you for leting it free!

  • Great job, way to let him go afterwards!

  • Catch and release like he should have. But realistically, what kind of semi large fish can be pulled in with the line in your hands? Is it due to the fact that the water is so cold they have less energy? Hook any saltwater species that size I know of and it would be gone

  • OMF their voices are so annoying but nice monster fish ang very sportsman like to release it

  • Fantastic.

  • true sportsman. catches big fish, lets fish go free. America #1

  • fucking maniac..

  • I had no idea you could put your hands through the gills and into the mouth o.O

  • Damn! Awesome fish and nice release (:

  • WOW!!!!!!!

  • they sound stoned as hell.. but nice catch

  • Glad you released her. That laker might be 50 years old and would taste like crap anyways. Always good to release lakers over 15lb to spawn and get bigger

  • i love your videos :-)

  • i am not a fisheman so please excuse my silly question but but i do wonder how a small fine line as shown could hold a fish that big without breaking and so with the clear ice he was on which seemed to be too thin to hold his weight? thanks for sharing by the way.

  • @goerizal1 fishing line is thin but it can hold a heck of alot and ice is actually clear but normally just has snow on it making it look less transparent

  • @goerizal1 - They didn't show you from the begining. Certain fish, especially trout tire easily. There is also this thing called drag on the reel. So, if your line is 10lb test line and you set your drag properly, the fish can pull until it hits 5lb to 6lb before the reel gives. That way, you'll never hit the breaking point. The fish pulls and stops and then you pull and repeat. Eventually, he is out of energy and you just bring him in.

  • those fillets would barely fit on my grill. sick.

  • wow...thats a big trout..nice catch/release

  • that is a beast right there, great video

  • Holding fish that big by the head will often result in it dying... they are not designed to have gravity applied that way, as they live in a weightless environment. Please handle them better in the future so they survive being released.

  • i love that you let it go after!! nice fish man!!

  • o my god...

  • that fishes spine will be fuct support the body of the fish if taking photo and releasing

  • get exited

  • wie do u have no pole?

  • @The2kill1shot He was using a tip-up probably.

  • I love huntin and I love fishin, but i HATE to see a fish out of water. So when I go fishin, I dont put them in a bucket and let them die slowly.. I just end it for them real quick. Thats more humane, right?

  • I don't even know if that trout is big enough to fit between his teeth

  • @barkingclown dont be an ass

  • kk 1 u nvr ever pull ur line like tht bcuz i have done tht with like a 15 pounder bass and i did tht ... my line snapped -__- and 2 u get a lil kink/loop in your line weather u real it right or not not to be a hater or anything im js

  • Looks like a Muskie in a Lake Trout suit!! =)

  • Very professionell to release such a an old fish. Nice job...

  • SUPER

  • Must've been fun.

  • huge? thats baitfish to me....

  • @xJustAboutEverything Year .... Right .. You can't almost catch bigger fish in this type of fishing ...

  • Judging by the time it spent out of the water, plus probably in cold winds when you had to take the fish outside to film, it can't have been doing too well once it got back into it's natural habitat. Yes, i am all for C&R, preserving our waters for the future, etc., but holding a 20lb+ fish from its gill slit/lid isn't in any way a good way to treat a fish if it's going to be released. The fishes entire body is resting on that bit of jaw-bone, intestines moving etc. Good catch, less good treatin

  • that was a great fish and for you to put that back deserves respect from me and im sure a hole lot of other people, seriously DAMN GOOD CATCH AND RELEASE. the way its ment to be. cant wait to see more like this from you. cheers

  • Thats pretty Bud.

  • haha its way over 20 pounds ahahahahahahah well dhuuu hahah

  • Its a hen (female)...

    Nice fish

    Cheers

  • well held.

if wasn't held correctly it would have been dropped and damaged when it was wriggling outside the hut.

  • Can you continue with this work? You have my attention and I am following your stuff.

  • yeah if the fish dosnt move you got to give him a little shake and try to wake him up because hes in shock, if you just throw him in the water when hes in shock he dies

  • Turning that fish loose is the sign of a true sportsman. Well done!

  • Big fish are at the end of lines of fishermen who let them go, if not you can continue to fish up those small bluegills.

  • you must have apir of gloves?

  • HOLY BUCKETS!

  • HHOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY BUCKETS!!!

  • I'd like to try ice fishing but looking at how clear that ice is (and thin) freaks me out.

    Nice fish though

  • @jshriverOH that ice isn't thin, you can walk on two inches (I recommend 3 or more) an I strongly recommend if you like open water fishing to try ice fishing, cause I do both an prefer ice any day...

  • porn music and scream

    mm

  • true fisherman!

  • Ignore the haters that's awesome!!!!!

  • SHIT it is not real man... nice catch!!!

  • you sound like shaggy from scooby doo

  • well it is a big fish, and the angler is just as big a TOOL

  • What a fucking clown. No point releasing that fish after treating it like that. Tard.

  • @Polky it wasnt hurt

  • I dont know why...

But he reminds me of a mix of Jim Carrey, and Jory Caron...

  • great catch love the excitement thats the way it should be

  • krazykool dude

  • I respect people who practice C&R, but this is just nasty..

To lift a fish of that size in the gills is just not how C&R should be practiced..

  • @Ulv123 its the gill plate, not the gills.....how else do you expect to land a fish like that....if you hold it any other way it is gonna fall to the floor which is a pretty big deal with fish over 30 pounds

  • @Ulv123 how the hell else was he gunna grab it?Iv never caught a lake trout in my life and by the looks of it neither has that guy. Im pretty sure they have teeth and id MOST CERTAINLY grab it by the gill so i dont get my fingers sawed off.

  • that is one big trout awsome job :) never seen one as big myself

  • hahaha best fishing video ever!

  • Is all that air really from the swim bladder or did the fish swallow it while it was being transported from another fisherman's ice house (if the latter, hope it was well paid)? I thought the swim bladder was apt to rupture rather than deflate through the mouth; though that varies by species I think. Bill Dance didn't do that but I know a lot of the pros did and do. Entertaining either way, nice job.
