Man, that petting zoo was intense. I remember getting nipped by those goats more than once, when I was little!

My mom worked as an elf in Santas Village and I was a sickly child so Santa shut down Santas Village for the day and my whole family got to enjoy the park and Santa gave me a really special present to open and it was a white dress with a red velvet sash and I wore it for Christmas that year . My mom wore her elf outfit every christmas to hand out our presents. Then my sister worked there when she was old enough and it was a family affair!!!

I used to work at Santa's Village about 1978-79.

I took photos of the kids with Santa and tried to sell them to the parents. I also worked at Mrs. Claus' Candy Kitchen and occasionally the Doll House. I also had to go around to various rides to let the other Elves have their breaks.

What memories this brings back! I went to the Santa's Village in Dundee IL - I loved that place when I was in a kid in the 70s!
