@profwaldo Wally, they turn up on ebay--there was one there yesterday, another two of these sold recently, one for 89, the other for 90.....so my price paid was very fair....it's very clean, too....you can enter in a speciaized search at EB.......ebay "alerts" ya when the item pulls up.....I will never solve "the mystery of the banjo" but i do have fun, trying.....LOL

Thanks so much Wally---it should sound better soon,,,new strings and lowered bridge,,,not bad for the $ .....i don't buy me much,,,the was Christmas and New years and Birthday, all rolled into one:-) I have a custom Bass I'm determined to get fixed...I'm so guilty it's not funny, and busy too....ahhh that's life!

@cinderellalifestyle I always feel guilty too, I bought a banjo from a guy in a Mcdonalds parking lot and then a few months later I bought a real nice violin from a gal in a Walmart parking lot, they were only 50 bucks each but because I can't do jack with either one yet the guilt just... oh,...hell with the guilt ! I'll get over it. hahaha Ain't craigslist great !?! A fleamarket at my finger-tips.hahaha Good to hear from you ! :-))))

@profwaldo Wally, they turn up on ebay--there was one there yesterday, another two of these sold recently, one for 89, the other for 90.....so my price paid was very fair....it's very clean, too....you can enter in a speciaized search at EB.......ebay "alerts" ya when the item pulls up.....I will never solve "the mystery of the banjo" but i do have fun, trying.....LOL

Oh Laurie, this was such a FUN listen. loved your vocal high notes too. i had never heard of a bakalelite banjo, but now that i have heard one, it has a very cool sound to it. keep on picking buddy, we'll keep on toe tapping, be well, chuck.
