I doubt she's lip synching, the microphone has that echo-y affect as if she's actually singing into it, and there's one part where she takes a breath and you can hear it. Now the keyboardist...lol...it looked like he was just hitting random keys..

this is lipsync. the echo is in the original track, so that's not any argument. this is exactly the single version and it may be heard that she doesn't actually breath into the microphone. she sings live in the top of the pops, the video is available on youtube.

Just watch the first 8 seconds and you can see that she's lip synching. the "lalalas" start and her mouth isn't even moving.

@boredtaco Actually, Kirsty does sing live. I saw her perform in Yokohama, Japan in 1992 and she was actually singing all her tracks, so she is the real deal.

It were just two songs by Kirsty on this show. There were many shows like this broadcasted on French Tv during the nineties. They were called "Dance Machine", i don't know if they were released on video. I recorded some songs then, but very few.

Uh....Kirsty has one of the most amazing vocals on this planet, I highly doubt she would ever lip synch unless something terrible happened to her voice. But saying she lip synchs is truly an insult when you know nothing about talent when it's staring right at you.

haha, right. maybe never her acoustic gigs, but i am pretty sure she lips 90% of the time at her dance/electronic gigs. and if she doesn't, she just sounds horrible. srry, her voice doesnt work well with live electronics. she should stick to the acoustics.
