  • I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this This gyroscope has angular momentum. The near edge is rotating coutnerclockwise, as viewed by you.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing This gyroscope has angular momentum. The near edge is rotating coutnerclockwise, as viewed by you

  • Theres an app for that

  • This happens because, as the wheel turns towards the man, angular momentum points to the right. When he pushes with his finger a torque is generated. When he pushes in the left side the torque points down, and when he pushes in the right side the torque points up.

The precession makes the angular momentum wanna chase the torque, so it twists.

  • that is awesome

  • Looked more like an accident waiting to happen!

  • Woah the thumbnail looks like a guy holding a weight by on finger. :O

  • @Th4Pwnz0r thats wat i thought XD

  • Can you watch the audio level next time please?

This is getting really old... posting a ton of white noise between soft whispers of distant voices.

  • this is in the iPhone

  • @nonpuertorican

not a mechanical gyro. probably a mems or a piezo electric gyro...

  • @nonpuertorican it sounds less impressive if u say it is in the DS lol

  • @nonpuertorican No it isn't. The one in the iphone isn't a physical spinning object.

  • @Aviatorsmith It's not spinning, no, but it is physical, and it is vibrating.

  • Its all funand games until some chick gets herhair ripped out!

  • looks like me in coma warcoma stoned and tired hahaha

  • That's exactly how you steer a sportbike at speed. Push on the right handlebar and the bike goes left. At low speed it's the opposite.

  • The direction doesn't depened of the speed.

  • @theslimeylimey

even at low speeds it's the same a Gyroscope has nothing to do with steering a sports bike :|

  • @MrCerialKiller Actually, I wrote that down wrong. I meant to say at speed, push forward on the right handle bar and the bike will lean and turn also to the right. At slow (parking lot) speed, this does not happen because the gyroscopic effect from the front wheel is so low, it does not come into play so you steer it like a bicycle.

  • @MrCerialKiller True enough. It's the caster geometry of the front steering/suspension which turns (any) bike.

  • this is awesome!!im doing this in class right now but ive never seen an actual one. you know the direction of the torque by the right hand rule?
