  • Dorian going to be soooooo sorry.

  • When Viki says "He was my father..." I absolutely LOVE the look in Dorian's eyes when she says "He was my husband!" Like, "don't you see? He betrayed us both!"

  • at 3:40 another personality. That one seems childlike. I'm gonna see if I can distinguish and count the different personalities. This is fun!

  • @zdiversable Viki doesn't officially change personalities until Part 4. Tommy comes out and throws Dorian down the stars. Then Jean takes over, puts Dorian in the trunk of the car and prepares for "damage control". Throughout parts 1 through 3, she's still Viki.

  • @spinnerNsports Actually, if you are paying close attention, the other alter begins to emerge in Part 3. That's how it usually happens. The writting is factual. They were right on track with this storyline.

  • @zdiversable When Dorian starts to reveal to Viki that her father sexually abused her as a young girl, Viki begins to "shatter" mentally and emotionally. The preparation for the other alters to come out starts to begin. However, an alter (first Tommy, then Jean) doesn't officially take over her body until part 4. Viki is still in control throughout part 3. It's just that at this point she's becoming mentally fragile upon hearing Dorian reveal the secrets.

  • @spinnerNsports Actually, if you pay close attention, you will notice that her alters begins to emerge in Part 3.

  • @zdiversable her name was princess

  • at 2:42 You can see Vickie's personality change. ES isa wonderful actress.

  • dorian was horrid but what excellent acting

  • i just hate how they keep making viki hav the intergrating faces....but nothing comes out

  • I would Like to see Natalie have a personality

  • @Pinkranger87 Yeah, just so the alter can be called "Kat" ;)

  • i loved magan,she was awsome

  • shes gonna lose ur mind

  • How do we know that Victor didn't try hurt Meredith in the SAME HENIOUS GROUTECH way he hurt Victoria

  • Why would the writers make Jessica suffer from DID after having already written this? Jess, Tess, Bess, etc. only serve to cheapen the quality of this storyline, which is far superior.

  • @heula1 Yes why would they make Jess, Tess and Bess that was the most horrible storyline and remember way before then Megan viki' s other daughter had DiD to her alter was called Ruby.

  • @carrielovejoy and Wes. Jessica was raped that's why

  • The man who founded Boy Scouts was a pillar in his community, his adult daughter a former Miss America came out he raped her constantly. So Victor would have not only raped Vicki, but Tina's mothet

  • That is the point - who would ever suspect him?

  • this how DID storyline was done

  • This is superb stuff, fabulous writing and acting.

  • This IS daytime writing and acting at its best!

  • yeah and these kind of s/l are a thing of the past OLTL has lost its identity.

  • you see each of them but mostly this is princess

  • I swear to God there was a scene in which Victor Lord emerged out of Viki and was moving to rape Jessica, and that's when Viki was able to break through and stop him, and finally went to the crypt and admitted to the whole family how sick she was. Then she started therapy. Does anyone have that scene?

  • if know anyone who has those secnes

  • @jase1010 You're right. 'Victor' was warning Victoria (after a confrontation with David) and Erin Torpey's Jessica came into the room. Victor shouted at her "GET OUT!" Then he changed and calmly reached out.."Jessica" Then VIKI: "NO! DON'T YOU DARE LAY ONE HAND ON MY DAUGHTER!"

  • i thought vitor raped Doria too and niki killed victor with a pillow

  • Victor never raped Dorian and it was Tori that killed Victor.

  • this is the best scene ever, when dorian hugged viki when she realized she repressed all the memories and did not know the tears fell so fast.

  • This the first time I've ever seen this and it was powerful.

  • A perfect marriage of acting, writing, and directing. Michael Malone wrote this show with the same integrity and respect he devotes to his novels, an amazing feat. Every one of Viki's personalities is showcased in this scene, though they wouldn't be named or explained until much later. If this were a prime time series, it would make sense, since viewers could watch reruns and see the progression of the sotry. To devote the same attention to detail to a daytime serial is mind-boggling.

  • how old was vicik when her father raped her?????

  • 7 years, when it first happened. I believe it may have continued until he died, which would partially explain why Dorian doesn't like Viki: Her husband cheated on her with Viki. But I'm just speculating, I doubt it.

  • omg Ew...hold up viki didnt kno that was her father or something?...how the hell she kept doing her father for that long?.EwEwEwEwEwEw!

  • No, her personalities did it for her. First, it was Nikki Smith. Then, Princess. Viki created Niki because she liked sex. She created Princess to experience it. She created Jean to protect her and be a mother to her. She created Tommy to be her older brother and Tori to be like her older sister. And I have no clue as to why she recreated Victor Lord!

  • "victor lord"!wow.....but thinks for the info:)

  • Actually Princess is supose to be Viki at 7. She was created when Viki began to remember the rape

  • Victor was the sucidial aspect of Viki's personality. VL was manifested by Viki because his legacy would be destroyed if she revealed his crimes. VL always warned Viki when she as a child she would be punished if she told anyone about him raping her, so Viki created a personality who would carry out that threat. Often, DID patients create a personality of their attacker. A scene between Viki & Todd resulted in VL coming out when Todd wanted to know what VL did to be considered such a monster.

  • @priorpast1 Yep. This is what you type in to find it "From '95: OLTL "Viki faces the truth" 3of25 "

  • If thats how Viki created her alters then is that kind of the same way Jessica created Tess and Bess?

  • yes, Tess, Bess (Less, Wess, Ness, Kess, Zess, or whoever else is in there.)

  • @bmf1706 ironic wes came out in 10 and 11

  • No Viki doesn't like Dorian because she always thought that Viki had voted in favor of her being fired as a doctor from Llanview hospital when infact Viki voted for her to stay. And Viki never liked Dorian because she believed Dorian killed Victor.

  • She was all of seven years old when that amoral bastard of a father of her's raped her!

  • Viki, honey, for once in her life, Dorian IS telling the truth. Victor Lord was an amoral piece of filth. He did you harm, the worst kind of harm any piece of garbage could ever do to a child; and he deserves to burn in hell for all the crap he did to you.

  • I don't really like how harsh Dorian was. It's like at times she feels bad at others she wants to throw it at her.

  • Viki blocked the door when she arrived as Dorian tried to leave. She "asked" for it! But that's what makes them great actress's. Feel pity for one and anger towards the other.

  • These scenes are just sensational... they get me everytime, even all these years later.

  • I hate that they made Victor a monster. He started off such a good character. However, it did bring out some fantastic acting from these two women.

  • I've always loved that no matter how much hatred was between Viki and Dorian, Dorian always had a protective sense over Viki when it came to Victor's dastardly deeds

  • I always wondered how Dorian saw herself when it came to Viki and Victor: Protective Stepmother (as shown here), rival, friend...

  • OMG, this has got to be the pinticle of daytime drama.

  • this episode should have gone primetime. Amazing drama.

  • I sensed some Miki at the door too, and before her complete split, I see some Tommy, Jean, Princess, and a bit of Tori (the Persona of Victor Lord was yet to come).

  • I know it's TV, but Viki is clearly coming apart at the seams and Dorian just keeps at it. What in the world possessed Dorian to do this herself? She should've called for help from *someone*, or everyone, by about two-thirds of the way through this clip.

  • Why would she, she doesn't like Viki?

  • She doesn't hate Viki, either.

  • Ya but she's so conniving that she certainly doesn't give a damn about Viki!

  • more Vikki please!!!! and her alternates from 1995.. Please peefcy

  • The thing about this story is that it all BUILT to this point, every stressor in Viki's life, Dorian, David, Joey, Tina, Sloan, everything. It was brilliant TV and the reveal deepened Dorian and Viki's relationship-Dorian had protected her all along at the expense of herself. When Viki says "my father never...forced me," it is bonechilling.

  • Even though Dorian can be vicious and scheming; in this case, she was terribly accurate on this situation. In a way, Dorian did Viki a favor by telling her the awful truth. Victor committed a horrid crime to his daughter and he burns in hades to this day!

  • Ya, but he might come back! I doubt it.

  • That stupid Mitch Laurence/"Victor Is Alive and Needs a Heart" story was the biggest shark jump this side of the Fonz! Moving as far away from that as possible, it's interesting seeing these for the first time in 12 years and now analyzing which personalities were present during the "confrontation". I sense a little Niki at the door when Vike first comes in.

  • There's room for interpretation. But I think Slezak's method was that she was throwing out the beginnings of the ''fragmentation'' - her dismantling - throughout the scenes. It was as if each persona was ''stretching'' or ''pushing'' its way out of Viki's barriers, intermittently, during the confrontation. But it wasn't until Tommy's appearance that the outright SPLIT, or division, took place. Genius.

  • i have to agree. I think you can even see the beginning of her fragmenting way back right after Sloan died. I remember a scene with her and Larry where she did not seem quite like herself and more like Jean. Slezak is just incredible!

  • i liked victor returning from the dead but they should have keeped him around to interact with todd/dorian/viki then have someone murder him

  • Personally, and I never do this, but I ignore that storyline. It was poorly written and never explained. Victor's alive. He never talks to his wife, he comes and dies. It's stupid and underdeveloped.

  • I should say I ignore the 2003 storyline, not this Storyline...I LOVED this storyline...

  • thanks for clarifying it. Well, now Victor is dead for good and all.

  • He's good and dead for NOW. If a new head writer comes in, they could do this Victor Lord thing again. I Love it when Viki and Dorian fight over Voctor, but it's kinda weird when he's there!

  • there is a clip on here from 1985 when dorian first showed viki the secret room, even then when dorian would mention anything concerning victor's perverse nature viki could not stand to here.then the old bastard was not even dead he was living in some big farm complex waiting for a heart transplant

  • i love the twist that Dorian had actually been *protecting* Viki all those years!

  • another amazingly beautiful performance by viki and dorian

  • I think you're right Central, in clip 1... I stated how Viki wasn't herself when you arrived at Dorian's... I think that was Tori, near the stairs before Bo arrives it was Tommy, after Bo leaves its Jean and in the study it was Princess.

  • I don't think she was Tori when she came in. Tori and Dorian would have been sitting there agreeing about what a bastard Victor was and plotting how to go and blow up his masoleum - LOL! She was Viki when she came in. Tori was the one who like to burn up all of Victor's stuff; such as Llanfair, The Banner, etc.

  • i think that all her personalites came out just a little bit

  • It's interesting that Dorian would say that he "seduced" Viki. She was 7 at the time. That was straight-up RAPE!

  • May Victor Lord ROT! For what he did to his seven year old daughter, no room in hell would be hot enough, that betrayal is absolutely despicable!

  • He is also a fictional character.
