Lomzynianka, Krolewkie Jadlo,or Christina's are all serving Polish food, they only differs in interror style. I'm very happy that you guys visit my neighborhood and tried some of our food. It is very delicious, I'm glad that you think the same. Gulash is my favorite! I also recommend GOLABKI and BIGOS. Pierogis also can be served with strawberries and other fruits.

I rather like their unpretentiousness, which to me is the opposite of "hipster." Their reviews were pretty spot on and well articulated, so I think you're being a little harsh on her for the "Metropolitan Ave" gaffe.

OK, so you were on track with going to Greenpoint but FYI, Metropolitan Avenue is not Greenpoint. And I agree with vam812. Christina's would have been a much better choice then the rats nest you went to.

The Polish food is great here. The Kabanos is great when it's ridiculously dry, like a jerky. Christina's would have been a good stop, many local politicians have frequented it. It is across the street from St. Anthony's church.
