"Damge by the tonne"??? That doesn't even make sense. Plus, at most, there will be only diesel and hydraulic oil spills on the ones that tipped over or sunk.
lol...like the fact that i saw my company name in there...guess i have something to refer to if they ever give me too much shit incase it happens to me..THE MUSIC RELATES TO THE OIL PATCH..LISTEN TO THE FUCKING WORDS...or just turn the sound down and go back to your katey perrey!..i dont even listen that music but can relate it to the video..
Great Pic's but EXTREMELY STUPID MUSIC. Why do have young drivers (general young adults) have to prove that they often are good for nothing, really. If they listening to such NEGATIVE AND INTENSE 'HATE-MUSIC', one does not wonder why they are always drugged up. People listening to such (I hate to use the word music) tones, listen too loud, have their mind not on the task ahead, think only when to get the next drugs or party but never think on safety, comrades etc. GO AND FUCK YOURSELVES
I worked for Vineyard Oil & Gas in Northeast,PA and Buford Drilling in Clodine,TX, worked for Texaco Exporation Party 51 and worked around lots of frac jobs for Haliburton and never seen anything like this while i was working.

Some truckers would have to google muskeg to understand what it is, not us Albertans. Frac truckers are always picked on, people looking in have zero idea what its like to drive in 2 feet of mud, with two pair of triples on. (Supertrucker: DUH, what are triples? Oh you mean triple trailers, right??)
show some pics of nancy polosi flying her private plane back and across the us or ted turner poisioning cherry creek to plant bull trout , all you nimby's crying about the tonnes of environmental damage, run out in front of the next logging truck you see an "hug me now fuckers"
Same shit happens here where I live, bunch of non drivin mofo's in a hurry! My day is comming, NOT! SLOW DOWN and think about it! Shut her down if you have to or you wind up like that!
Great video. The irony of the HSE Intergrated truck in the ditch, since there all about safety. It also shows the stereotypes towards the fracers haha as most of the trucks rolled were Calfrac, Sanjel, Trican and BJ.
I just have to say what you are calling "environmental damage" is called "getting stuck" in alot of those pictures. Every one of these companies paid for not only every penny of damage but also puts MILLIONS of dollars into the economies of your country and mine. I say "Kiss my Fraccing A**" if you don't like it then snuggle up closer to the heat provide by the sweat of these guys hard work. I would love to see you keep warm in that Frozen tundra you call home w/o it. :)
Have you ever worked the Patch? This happens all the time according to the weather....also spring break-up will kick your ass every time....so to those that know nothing about it...STFU! Get out from behind your puters and actually work for a change!
@jerichomyles I'm a rig mover in Arkansas, everybody wants their fuel but most don't think or care about how dangerous the enviornment is. The enviornmental precautions that go on before a skid is even laid down are never mentioned, I've seen the roughnecks dig up the dirt on top of the plastic liner just because a couple cups of hyd fluid leaked from a cylinder. Its the hardest & dirtiest job I ever did but I love my job & the idea of producing energy here rather than the middle east!
these shit heads are getting paid 30+ bucks an hour to operate someone else's equipment and they dont evem know how to drive trust me i use to run a coil tubing unit it pays good but sucks dick
@ArthurDentZaphodBeeb what the fuck accicdents happen most turck accidents happen because other people cut them off thinking"oh well he a retared jackass his truck has better brakes bcuase its bigger"no they dont you mother fucker most truckers are safer then any other drives out there so grow up and think about it
Environmental damage is enevitable. EVERY one has a hand in it. even the vegitarian green peacers who drive "efficent" electric cars with batteries that have non-recycleable chemicals in them. The environment will survive us.
@bigironmover well, its cuz the work is seasonal, and you have a narrow window in which to work in. So a lot of drivers take coke, or meth, to stay away for days at a time...but that runs out sooner or later...
MUD! sticky, gooey MUD! look at the chains on these units.... when wrecks like these happen, it's all slow motion. it starts goin... then it's gone. might as well light a smoke and watch 'er go. (there was a few operator failures in there, too...)
Well leave it to BJ and them frack crews and wire line comps to do the stupied shit. I have been driveing in the oil patch for 5 yrs and never done any of that stuff just shows what they hire. I have been up so bad ass mounts with snow and all and never spone out and been in mud and all.
Sorry for asking, but I don´t know, why they drive on this ground with so heavy lorries? Are there no better roads, or are thes drivers not very well skilled? And some of these lorries and construction-machines don´t look like, as you could ever get them back out of this mud or water or ice. Who pays for all these wrecks and the damage on the environment?
Most times they dont have any better roads to go on and although there are many skilled truck drivers accidents happen. But more often than not the get it done at all costs mentality trumps good judgement. The environmental costs are paid by the company and all equipment must be removed. Its a bad scene but it happens.
Iam an Alberta boy,and been working in the patch 17 years and raised in it,,one of the lorries in the ditch is from my uncles company,,lol,,we go to remote locations in the winter and work on frozen muskeg,,if its been nice out ,,the vehicle will sink,,also the roads we use are usually new roads,,maybe a month old,,and the company usually pays for the wrecks,,and the damage to the enviroment is fixed right away,,and the vehicles are always recovered.
@Fastline1000 The roads are largly temporary for the winter. Sometimes the road decides to give out due to weather changes. (Spring) And sometime it is plain driver error. The oilfield ALWAYS recovers what is stuck, and cleans up any spill. Its not like the sixties when the environment was second over profits. Have you ever spilled 51 litres of oil in Alberta?? The paperwork and accountability is huge, even for that size of a spill.
spend enough time up north and you get to see this shit first hand. I;d say on average we;d see a truck on two fuct or stuck on the way to the lease everyday. Waterhaulers and fuckn bandaids.
hammerbit1 you are so true we got a fucking farmer that owns some oil leases and they are fucking shit ,hell he had a pumpjack crader then a couple weeks later put another jack on its and it lasted a month then cradered again ,theases fucking farm boys should staty with there fucking kid of work and stop acting like they no the oilfield better than us ..... bye the way im 13 years old ive been in this shit all my life and i no better than that farmer

Yeah, the HSE is a medic. I'll bet if you got hurt out there you sure as hell would change your attitude if you needed a friggin medic...you friggin red neck ass hole!
Hahaha, dude, your comment is just funny cause I'm like the fucking antithesis of what a redneck is.
If I ever get hurt on the job I'm going to want to get to a real medical professional as soon as possible, not some old leather faced retard who couldn't hack in any other job, which is what most band aids are.
I respect what they do when they do it, cause I've seen a medic save a life before, but for the most part they just sit on their ass while us men work, which is a bit annoying.
Ah ...right on, I think I know some of those guys, sometimes there is nothing you can do about it, my worst was dropping a grader through the muskeg and having to be lifted out by a passing bed, cost me 2 40's and a nasty trip into Tommy Lakes for them....sh*t happens, good video!

Man those CalFrac boys sure get into a few tight spots.
What was with that HSE truck though? Friggin medics.
asalmon2112 3 years ago
