I think these men on stage were winging it, and need to look at more scriptures to create a sound and accurate answer. They took this question waayyyyy to lightly, seeing that more Christians are divorcing than non-Christians these days.
The story of Isaac and Rebekah would imply that God has one person for us to marry. But the 1 Corinthians passage provides an interesting perspective as well.
