hey man ya they really are. they always amaze me any time i watch any of those guys! you should check out marloweDK hes absolutly phenominal...and about those eq settings i really cant help you on that becasue ive forgoten then but i know i used a lot of od and the gain was up at least to 2 oclock volume was maybe 9 oclock and the trble and bass were both very high... see how that works...itll be pretty close depending on your amp settings but just make minor changes! thanks again ciao
lol i was like that until i got my stingray..and i love it soooo much...dont get me wrong you dont need this to become good or w.e and im no saying im good either but..ya its the best bass for the 1000$ price range....and i paid mine 1473$ brand new...it wont depreciate cause its american soo its worth the money :)...if you need more info feel free to ask! thanks for watching
hey henry thanks for watching and giving your advice and tips...i tried to stick to the origional versions for all my covers as much as possible because only from the knowing the origional can you add truly great variations and develop some great ideas! but for the outro or solo as you called it i did miss that note only because im too inconsistant with it...i cant get it to sound good with that note everytime...yet lol...but for the sound...i actually got nearly a perfect match tone wise. cont'
alot of the reason is because im using the odb3 i rented and it is the exact pedal flea used to record this song...as for the clean part i got a nealy perfect match of tone...luckily...but theres still the sound of the sudio that i cant get and modulus carbon neck punch that i cant match but your pretty much hearing my bass on top of those things...i think it blended well...but i will try to use less volume for sure...its just hard to find that balance...but ill do better..thank you!

It seems pretty good...
The tab is not exactly the same as the album version you're playing on but who cares ? It seems almost the same to me... ;-)
The little solo was hard to do, wasn't it ?
On the last part I think you miss one note...On the A string it's 0-3-0-5-8-7-5-555...
On your next video I would try to lower the volume of the backing song...it's hard to hera your bass but it's OK.
Overall it's good...but I'm gonna be mean and ask for another version...but less volume for the song :-)
