@bonitablueeyez Texas is a large state you can't make a many broad and generalized statements about it. The big cities have a crime problem, probably like all states do. The rest of the state has an illegal immigration problem, and population boom problem. There's cheaper states out there but probably not with as much work as what's available here.

Fort Worth is the only city in the U.S.A. that has like 700,000 people that only have faw thing to do there and it's boring. All the nice restaurants and shops come from around the DFW Airport,Dallas,Southlake,Arlington but not Fort Worth.

Nowhere else can you drink rum and coke and dance to honky-tonk music on a sawdust floor with some of the most beautiful women in the world. Yes, and that includes those vivacious señoritas. no, not really. >:) but dallas and ft worth hold two pieces of the same puzzle. ft. worth has the tradition and history whereas dallas has the industry and savvy. All tourists visit in Dallas is Dealey Plaza and *maybe* west end or deep ellum for the more adventurous. unless you live here, it's pretty uninteresting. if you want the stereotypical "cowboy" feel visit Ft Worth.
I visited Fort worth a number of years ago, spending three days there, and had a great time. We visited the old railroad station, enjoyed seeing some lovely old historic buildings, took in a rodeo and ate at some good restaurants. More to it than that but those were highlights. I love this song - love George Strait - and if there are people who don't like this town then they should just hush up and move somewhere else. I love Texas. Fort Worth is the only city in the U.S.A. that has like 700,000 people that only have faw thing to do there and it's boring. All the nice restaurants and shops come from around the DFW Airport,Dallas,Southlake,Arlington but not Fort Worth.

i was born in los angeles but my family moved to fort worth because everything costs too much in california, and yeah forth worth is a boring city with little to offer compare to los angeles, but at least every thing cost less.

no, not really. >:) but dallas and ft worth hold two pieces of the same puzzle. ft. worth has the tradition and history whereas dallas has the industry and savvy. All tourists visit in Dallas is Dealey Plaza and *maybe* west end or deep ellum for the more adventurous. unless you live here, it's pretty uninteresting. if you want the stereotypical "cowboy" feel visit Ft Worth.

I visited Fort worth a number of years ago, spending three days there, and had a great time. We visited the old railroad station, enjoyed seeing some lovely old historic buildings, took in a rodeo and ate at some good restaurants. More to it than that but those were highlights. I love this song - love George Strait - and if there are people who don't like this town then they should just hush up and move somewhere else. I love Texas.
