  • He got a hair cut you fucking dunce.

  • So bummed I missed them at Baybeats :/

    It's addictive <3

  • Man, I can't stop diggin' this song!

  • are they christan

  • suposedly. but if they are. they are the best christian band in the history of time

  • I am pretty sure they are Christians cuz i checked on wikipedia and they don't have any swear words in they're lyrics

  • yes, they are christian. their label "tooth and nail" is christian only. They have to have their lyrics approved as well to make sure they are clean and christian in nature.

  • You mean Universal Republic. They're Christians as people. But they don't classify themselves as a Christian band. Fuckwit.

  • They are Christians, each one, but are a secular band

  • ok hell yes they're performing at a gig tomorrow, entirely free!! WOOOOO!

  • i love them, they have the best intros!! n lyrics....etc etc!

  • do you have a link to the other version of Feel Good Drag song?

  • Go to my channel and click The feel good drag :) It's fan made

  • why does this sound better than the mp3 i have?

    In LOVE with this song!

  • Boot leg MP3s tend to sound like crap.

  • Someone tell this dumb dumb why she dissolved into the water?

  • she's running away from that guy....

  • watching an Anberlin video is good but seeing them live is even better

  • ok can someone please tell me why in the hell some people hate this song, and waste there time typing stupid random crap just to piss off the people who like something they hate?

Those who waste there time to do this is a faggot and needs to go the hell away!

as for the song itself, I LOVE IT!!

  • great video, good song too

  • stephen's such a hottie

    :]

  • This is similar to Flyleaf's breathe today video...

  • i like the original version better, off their never take friendship personal album!

  • Honestly, this song is so good it makes me stomach hurt.

  • <345

  • whoosh.. what an intro and guitarsolo

  • this song is great. but the live version is inferior to the studio. true with most songs though

  • I saw them 2 years ago, in club zoo pittsburgh, they were pretty damn good live. It was a yellowcard concert but i bought the ticket for Anberlin. Studio sounds good because its supposed to lol, its not like they played through it once and had it perfect. Stephen its great live as well.

  • dis song iz so kewl + awesome

  • no doubt, my favorite song, and band<3

  • Hmm, not many people seem to know theme here. But if people hear them and like them, I can't really have a problem with it just because they didn't like them when they'd never heard of them to begin with.

And plus they get cool videos like this.

  • sarah08hannah: It clearly states in the upper right corner, that they are now on Universal Republic. Their new record was released by them...not their original label, Tooth & Nail

  • this is so much better than the version they had on "never take friendship personal." They've revamped this song 100 times.

  • I like both versions but I'm not so sure that it was necessary to put it on New Surrender

  • This song proved to be the great Halo 3 montage song ever.

  • they were signed to T & N but switched to Universal Republic with the release of New Surrender

  • this is just awesome

  • I love this song[: I heard it on the radio and it took me a while to find it, lol.

  • His voice is similar to the guy from Sum41, atleast the high pitch

  • how did the music video for one of their least faith-related songs spark a heated debate about how their record label causes people to categorize them as musicians? christian or not, the music is good, it doesnt matter who they do it for

  • does anyone know who directed this music video?

  • Vraiment magnifique, j'en ai la chair de poule =)

  • I dare say the best American rock band out there.

  • no skillet is the best

  • i extremely to the fullest love Anberlin!

  • I love this band!!! It is absolutley amazing.... I am hoping I can go to one of there concerts this summer.... I am saving up, but money is tight around here..

I love this song! It is my favorite by them at the moment, I cant wait until there new single comes out!!!! (=

  • life story?

  • I Love this Group! They Wail in their own way, there own style and in this day and ago that's hard to come by.

  • Well, they officially have 4 albums the ones you mentioned. But I think countrymusiccowgirl is including the "Lost Songs" CD.

So yeah, 4 Albums and a Demo/B-sides CD

  • this song is awesome... but i prefer the old version

  • I absolutely adore this amazing band.

    Simples.

  • i love this song

  • i play drums...getting a band together this summer...gonna be like them ^^

  • Wow they have a third album now. So cool to watch a band grow, you know?

  • They have five albums...

  • Uhm....

    they have 4.

1: BluePrints for the Black Market

    2: Never Take Friendship Personal

    3: Cities

    4: New Surrender

  • And Lost Songs.

  • Love this song :] and the vid is pretty awesome.

  • LOVE IT, LOVE THEM!

  • This new and old verisons aren't really that different....but i like the old one better.

Go check out Never Take Friendship Personal, and Cities too. Most amazing CD's ever.

  • <3 i wonder if there's an acoustic version anywhere?

  • there is, you can get it on itunes under the sony live album, just look up anberlin and youll see which one im talking about

  • My favorite Sound @ work ;)

  • Love this song, but the older version is better, in my opinion, it was the first Anberlin song I heard ^^ Anberlin is amazing...and ohhh the lyrics =D

  • I agree completely, can't stand the knew one compared to the old.

  • <3 this band. I have atleast three songs in every playlist I make :)

  • amazing amazing amazing.

  • It's music shut the hell up about religion and philosophy and enjoy it, pseuds.

  • No you shut up! It is a CHRISTIAN BAND, with CHRISTIAN morals. They want to spread their message! The words have meaning *Le Gasp* Who does that! The Fiends!

  • They're not a Christian band, they are all Christians, but they do not write or perform music for God.

  • Ooooh..... Well thanks for telling me ^^

  • I don't want to be smart or anything but I believe they do because Christians are meant to do all things for God's glory. They just don't write music that explicitly praises God :)

Still they are an awesome band!

  • The band have said time and time again that they're not, so it's them I'll listen to.

  • umm yea this is to a christian band if you do your research youll find that out there under the same label as underoath

  • Comment removed

  • ummm well idk where you did your research at but your wrong.. Anberlin is under Tooth and Nail Records..Which is a christian record label.. A label that Underoath is also under.. Get your Facts straight Before you talk about something you dont know. With that said.. Why does it matter what label their under. Labels are stupid anyway. their good musicians and thats all that matters. Forget everything else.

  • Comment removed

  • Anberlin left Tooth & Nail in 2007 and signed with Universal Republic Records in August of that year. Get your facts straight before you talk about something you don't know.

  • I still can't believe you had the cheek to question me, when you are so blatantly wrong, how could you miss them leaving T&N? Crazy

  • Well now their not cause they were resigned.. But they was signed to T&N..And i was only stating it was a christian label.

  • Yes, they were signed to T&N, which is seen to be a 'Christian label', however, Anberlin are not a Christian band, how do I know, because the band say they're not, I wouldn't care if they were, they are still incredible, but the fact is, they're not, and if you have a problem with that, take it up with the band, because they're the ones who argue they are not a Christian band.

They all have they're faith, but they do not write or perform music for god or for religious discovery.

  • Sorry..... hadn't read the other comments yet

  • NOT emo

  • Um, what about the song, people?

  • band*

  • Love the song, and the bad

  • love this group and video

  • Great song!

  • Like the song, but somehow it sounds diffrent then the one i bought of Itunes. Start of the song and some lyrics are different.

  • its cuz they came out with an older version of this b4. u probably got the older version.

  • i love this song

  • This song is so good!! LOVE IT! <3333

  • Sorry to tell all of you but Anberlin isn't classified under "Christian" Music. Anberlin's members are all christian individually and their music is to inspire you with a positive message not shove christianity down your throats.

  • Without their Christian perspective, there would probably not be any positive message to convey. I don't want to start an argument but you have the wrong idea about Christians. We aren't called to shove our beliefs down people's throats, that is what people misunderstand our message to be.

  • Are you saying that only Christians are capable of imparting a positive message to anyone? BTW, you want to try living round here, I'm constantly being doorstepped by one group or another intent on ramming their naive beliefs down my throat.

  • No, I am saying that it is less likely to have a positive view on things with the world the way it is unless you have a Christian perspective. You can still have a positive view, but that usually requires a lot of ignorance or apathy. What Christians are called to do is give the Gospel to people, not force them to embrace it. If someone does not want to talk to us about Christianity, we will not make them. If people are doing that were you live, then that is not shoving beliefs down your throat.

  • That's got to be the most arrogant, smug post I've read today. True ignorance is what comes from reading bronze-age fairy tales from the most heavily censored, revised and edited book in history, and then having the cheek to declare that what's left is devine revelation, even though it still doesn't reflect the universe we inhabit.

  • I did not mean any arrogance in my post. I don't see how you could have misunderstood that to be arrogance. I doon't know if you realize that the Bible we have today is almost identical (except for differences due to translation) to the dead sea scrolls. They are the oldest manuscripts of any book and yet they are still remarkably the same. It has not been heavily revised, that is something somebody who didn't like the Bible came up with by themselves. Explain what you mean by that statement.

  • I think you'd better study theology a little better. The dead sea scrolls are not an original version of the bible, they are a conpemporary record from the time Christ is alleged to have lived. There is no mention of Christ in the scrolls, or indeed of any of his miracles. That is why the catholic church (which owns the scrolls) refuses to publish them in their entirety...

  • The bible has been heavily revised and censored over the centuries to reflect the knowledge of the time. During the last 1000 years, the bible has lost an entire testament (The Apocrypha) and over 20 gospels. If we assume the bible is the word of god, and that god is omnipotent, they we must as ourselves why the bible isn't even self-consistent. If you stand back and study the bible objectively in the light of what we know, you'll see that it just doesn't stack up....

  • The idea that the bible is some historical record is also fallacy. Even the first of the gospells wasn't wrintten until more than 30 years after Christ's death, and the last gospel (John) almost 200 years after Christ. The bible is the work of many different men; men who weren't even reading from the same script.

  • Question: Do you think we have accurate copies of "Nicomachean Ethics?" or of "Res Publica?"

  • Can't quite see what you're driving at there Bob? Care to elaborate?

  • The earliest fragments we have of those documents were copied far later than the earliest (and larger) fragments of the post-Jesus writings. If you reckon the story of Socrates to be reasonably accurate, then you must by the same criteria figure that the gospels' accounts of Jesus were reasonably accurate. Jesus' divinity may still be doubtful fantasy, but as far as historical references go, the gospels are not a horrible starting point.

  • My point is that there are no written fragments of Jesus's life until 30+ years after his death; only stories passed by word-of-mouth, effectively a Chinese whisper, hence the fantastic claims of the later gospels. There is no contemporary record.

BTW, I think you mean Aristotle, not Socrates.

  • No, I mean Socrates. The supposed teacher of Plato, of whom we only know by second-hand, possibly fictional accounts.

Aristotle we know of by his own writings. That is to say, we know he actually existed. Socrates, however, was only written of, rather than writing his philosophies himself.

Are books written based on the accounts of survivors of Auschwitz inaccurate? We're 67 years post facto. Would an account crafted from their memories be necessarily inaccurate based on the time difference?

  • Interview a dozen witnesses to an event and they'll tell you dozen different versions. They'll probably have 80 or 90 percent in common, which is where the truth will lie. Interview their great-grandchildren in 100 years about what their great-grandparents saw, and see if you get as much commonality. Folk tales are notoriously unreliable.

  • The account of Socrates is first-hand, as Plato knew him personally. Likewise the accounts of the death camp survivors is also first-hand, and more to the point, reliably corroborated. Most accounts of Jesus' ministry were written by men who weren't even born when he died, and were compiled from stories that had been handed down by word-of-mouth, which given the human propensity for stretching the truth can hardly be considered reliable.

  • But could not the stories of Socrates be fiction? How can we know that he was, indeed, real?

The gospel of Luke was built from the accounts of eyewitnesses. Mark's gospel sprung up thirty years after the estimated date of Jesus' crucifixion. Paul's letters cropped up even earlier, from what I've read.

As far as folk-tale decay goes, I can hardly disagree. I merely doubt that happened substantially in this case.

  • Could you message me the comment that was redacted?

  • I made an erroneous reference the the apostles, when I meant the gospel writers. It was rewritten and reposted immediately before your reply

  • In truth, the first three gospels have much in common, and are not so steeped in magic and miracles as John.

Perhaps I should seperate Jesus the man from Jesus, God incarnate. I don't doubt Jesus the man; a common name at the time. I do doubt Jesus the magician, as my education and observation leads me to believe that we inhabit a universe of cause and effect, undepinned by the laws of physics, and with little room for the supernatural. God hides in the recesses science hasn't reached...yet!

  • Socrates could conceivably be a fiction created by his students, which also include Aristotle and Xenophon, but we have to ask why would they?

  • 30 years is a long time for a human memory. For instance, 30 years ago this year, my friend and I went to watch Led Zeppelin at Knebworth. A truly great gig, which is still rooted in my mind, but 10 years later, apart from New Barbarians, we couldn't even agree on the other bands on the bill that day, never mind Zeppelin's set list.

  • I have no idea why Plato and Xenophon would invent Socrates, any more than I would know why the apostles would suffer horrific murders for a vague memory. I merely raise the question.

I think that defining miracles as necessarily violating the laws of physics is a bit iffy, theologically speaking. Wouldn't the creator of the material universe work within the rules he already set?

  • I would think that naturalistic explanations for miracles are perfectly valid, while still maintaining their miraculous nature.

    Just a thought.

  • I'm thinking miraculous as in raising the dead (Lazarus) or spontaneously turning water into wine. Both of those would defy rational explanation

  • True.

  • Use it as a guide for how to live your life, by all means, but the Bible isn't literal truth.

  • You rock dude.....I was going to comment, but after reading every one of your posts....I dont have to. Kudo's to you my friend.....kudos

  • hmm is this the second or third album this song has been on? Don't get me wrong it's a fave of mine but I'm surprised that they would release this one as a single instead of something new new.

  • it's the second...i personally like this version better...plus, it was mastered better.

  • Im obsessed with this song!

  • Me too! :]

  • amazing song

  • Best band EVER!!! :D

  • ANBERLIN ROCKS!

  • I like the original version only because Christian screams in it. This version is way heavier than the previous one and sounds better.

  • This video is extremely awesome! I love the touch of noir!!!

  • awsome song i luv the riff at the begining

  • Dudes! they did not sell out just cause they switched labels, they are just some honest dudes trying to make a living just like every other person who aims for success, they are just doing it through their talent...

  • This song isn't new... why would they re-release it on another CD? xD

I'm really behind, aren't I. Someone inform me.

  • ... I prefer the original recording.

  • It was re recorded and put on another album. It has a different intro and is louder than the first version, for starters.

  • Well that much is obvious. However, it doesn't seem like there has been a definite improvement from the former version.

  • i liked the first better. Also, the new version has no screaming on the breakdown , and even though the song is louder, it is more mellow than the first version.
