Even as a male, I relate heavily to Natalie throughout this film. It was a huge shock to me in this scene when she said, "No one will ever love you as much as I do" and "Why isn't love enough". I said those exact words to my ex fiancee of 3 years when she left me for another guy, but without the emotional breakdown. This scene might be my favorite. Her love is clearly so strong for him. Sitting up on the couch with that charming, sleepy, innocent look on her face. "What?" What an angel.
@maemae808 becouse love isnt always being happy, I was in love and we broke up a few days ago, although I did love her all she did was cause me pain. especialy when she said she loved me a week before we broke up..
God this is what I'm going through right now. And I was engaged to this guy as well. Two years we were happy together. At least I thought so. I lived this scene a week ago. I will never get over this.
hi stacy, i am in the same situation, too. 2 years and a half. It's tragical, but i am sure we will get over this, although it hurts so much...a hug from someone who understands you very well...
Keep your head up. I don't know if you're a guy or a girl, but keep in mind if you ended up marrying the person the situation could be even worse! You would have ended up with a divorce and much more devastated.
I'm really proud of natalie for doing a role like this...something different and it made her vulnerable but she tried it and it worked out so well. Trying something new was great and its one of her values that i love. A truly exceptional actress!
Why isn't love enough?

Okay, Natalie Portman is actually acting well in this movie. Why the hell didn't she do that at any point in Star Wars?
highwind8124 2 years ago 8
Umm.. because it's Star Wars? Terrible script, terrible actors, can't really do anything with that.
eversmot 2 years ago 11
Because Star Wars was POORLY WRITTEN AND DIRECTED.

you know, Natalie Portman was the only one who I thought did a good job in this movie. The story was good, but Julia Roberts was terrible.
seanasimpson 5 years ago
agreed. jude law and his pouty faces sucked too

i totally agree. the way that julia roberts acted in this film was mediocre. i really did not expect that from her.

julia was blasé, as needed for composition

Julia was suppose to have that personality. How was her performance terrible?
